You have it backwards. Give her a specific date.

If you are available whenever she is free, then you don't have a lot going on.

I usually give a couple of options, like "Let's go xxxxxx. I'm free tuesday and friday night."

When xxxxxx is related to something we talked about o we made jokes about or it's a common interest, it works waaaay better.

Anyway don't overthink, when they want to know you there is no need to play games. If she flakes or make it difficult or doenst find the time for two or three times in a row, she is not interested. Deal with it

I know it’s a general rule to give them a date To travail over their eyes to make it look like you’re busy but

I’m gonna have to disagree. When I’m setting up dated it’s pretty much a case by case basis, lotta time to do ask them what their schedule looks like and often times it works out my favor. If they like me they like me and that’s that.
