Is there anything wrong with asking the girl that may have rejected you or became uninterested, what exactly went wrong?

Im not talking about any first encounters; I mean after a couple dates were set and somewhere along the line there was a disconnect.

Is this a "needy" trait? Would there be any insight to be learned from seeing where she came from?
