A philisophical question...

TRP preaches that being authentic is a liability in game. I won't argue.

However, I'm curious if any godo articles have been written about having an authentic persona.

While it may be a liability for a man's sexual prospects, it is something that I demand from my male friends. I don't like people fake smiling at me and acting phony.

Additionally, I think with a woman, authenticity can signal confidence and strength (you are assured that being authentic does not put you at risk).

The lack of authentcity is a maaaasive dissatisfaction I have with American culture. It troubles me that we spend our lives in character.

finally, it appears to me that we have a prisoner's dilemma. If one man is authentic, the next man can profit by being inauthentic.

Any thoughts?
