How to approach a group?

You need to be playful and high energy. I've opened sets by saying "You guys look like fun, what's poppin' in this corner?" "Hey guys, first time here?" Or even "My boys aren't here yet so I'mma kill time with you guys, I hope you won't bore me"

Regardless of your target you need to engage the whole group in conversation. Ask questions like "How do you all know each other?" "Is it a girls night out?" It doesn't matter. Opinion openers are good for this. Situational ones too. I've opened a two set at a bar by walking up to their table and accusing them of being like American Idol judges just observing the talent in the meat market and it ended with a number close.

You should absolutely not open a set by identifying the girl you like right off the bat unless you have stupid confidence because that puts a lot of pressure on both her and you that will almost inevitably hurt your game. Shake everyone's' hand and kino the targets' friends more then her, Then if she give you IOI's talk to her directly, escalate and try and isolate. I like to open sets by myself while my homies are doing their own thing and then have one of them meet me in the set and then we both hold conversation with the group or he takes my place while I isolate.

"I think you're ALL beautiful"

The problem with this is that its a terrible opener. Sure, there will be women who are good at game and will ask you questions and continue the conversation, but usually the answer will be "Thanks" and they will look around, or continue the conversation they were already having.

Also, in general if you compliment the whole group, there will be much confusion as to whom you are interested in. And that is the BIGGEST turnoff for women: they love knowing that you approached because you like her, or one of her friends.

I mean, put yourself in their shoes: if you were standing with a bunch of guys and a pretty girl comes up and says: "I think you're all handsome!", how would you feel? You would be confused: does this girl like me, or my best bud? Should I hit on her, or should I step aside for my friend? etcetc.

I find this pretty tough as well -- I think it's all about how you approach one of the girls while not shutting her off from the rest of her friends. So the mid-point between what you're saying. But I'm more interested in people's tips because it's usually a struggle and usually all the attractive women are grouped with other attractive women so you won't find many pretty girls alone

Address them all briefly and ask them brief questions and then when you get back to her follow up with..."so you said....tell me more about that." And go from there. It will just look like she said something to strike your interest.

Both of these are terrible. In a group if you do this sort of thing there's a very low chance of it working. You'll need to come across as friendly to the others. Make them like you as a cool guy they met at a bar, not just another dude hitting on one of their friends. If there's two or three of them a direct approach I've had some success with is asking the other/s "hey, mind if I steal your friend for a bit?" maybe Chuck in a playful "I promise I'll bring her back in one piece"

The most success I've had is in three simple steps. Step 1: GET HYPED. You're going to be nervous no matter what. Transfer that into excitement and confidence. Step 2: when you approach the group, single out the girl you want and introduce yourself. It's pretty simple. Just walk up, make a joke, and if she seems somewhat into you, introduce yourself. Step 3: walk away and meet up with her later. A girl isn't just going to fuck you the first time she talks to you, in general at least. Make a good first impression, maybe show some interest, and then if you're at a party, mingle. Let her see you being sociable. If not at a party, joke around and make yourself seem like able to the rest of her group. If you hit it off with your mark, get her contact info and gtfo. If not, no harm done. You either just made her day so that she'll remember you next time you see her, or it maybe not. But hey, you win some you lose some right?

What has worked for me is to approach a single person in the group (i am thinking in a club scenario), and throwing yourself in the spotlight (storytelling or bantering with the person usually does the trick). Introduce yourself and now you "know" the group. From here on you're in and you can do as you please.

Opinion openers are usually good to get the group talking. It's better to engage the whole group, then isolate one after you won the group over.

Put your hand out in "rock", assuming they will play if challenged.
