Here’s the truth: you’re probably not going to meet anyone. Bar game is all about being social and timing. Most people don’t go to bars with the express goal of finding someone. They’re usually there for something else: socializing with friends, coworkers, trivia or some other things. So how do you meet people? There’s a ton of material on this sun on bar game, but the most important one is just: time. Don’t expect something to happen every time you go out. Find something to do that you might li…

Another reason is that women love the feeling of being wanted. If you make a move, you're expressing your interest. The worst thing that could happen (from a woman's perspective) is she displays interest and you reject her.

Move on. You misread the situation. We weren’t really there so this is just a guess but she was likely giving you a lot of signals that she didn’t want to spend more time/the night with you. Maybe she mentioned it in conversation, maybe just in the way that she said she had to get up tomorrow. Basically you’ve given her the impression that you just want to get your dick wet and aren’t really listening to what she is saying; bad signs for both sex and relationship. Or likely some other guy pushed…

This. Smell is what matters. A good smell won't get you laid, but a cheap/bad smell will prevent you from getting laid.

This is an excellent comment. Men do need to get used to the fact that women are not innocent angels when it comes to sexual history. They probably have experimented a lot. And Men need to be comfortable with that. I mean if you think about it: guys are more many if they've had more sexual experience but women are sluts? WTF is that about.

You need to have more women friends. You need to observe them flirting with their partners and see what happens.

Same thing with me, I was terrified of when women giggled for that reason and never realized its just what girls do. In fact they might be trying to get your attention lol.

The only thing alcohol does is lower your inhibitions enough for you to approach without being scared stupid. That is basically it. Most guys, if they didn't act weird around women they are attracted to, and expressed their interest in a non-creepy way, would get much much farther than they realize. Its not just you trying to get pussy, women are trying to get dick too.

I felt terrible and defeated but i'm eager to attempt this again next week. That's the spirit! :) Your first experiences will probably suck. Your first time having sex will most certainly suck. But you keep doing it and eventually you will get it right. And it will get better. To me, what you did was to take your first baby step in the direction to going out more. And think about it: that one hour awkwardly standing around was still better than sitting at home, drowning beers watching trash TV a…

I think you bring up good points. I think what you're getting at is that Models is necessary but not sufficient for game. My personal experience has been that you need to experience both wild, casual sex and deep meaningful relationships to really understand what you're comfortable with and what you really want. I don't think anyone can get better gfs simply by reading Models. You need to experiment with different techniques before finding one that works for you.

You have to learn to isolate the different parts of your life. I'm an extremely geeky programmer but when I'm going out I do not talk anything about programming, unless specifically asked about it. When I'm at work, I'll talk my heart out about how goroutines are fucking awesome and why I use them everywhere. A change in state can sometimes be achieved with a change in clothes. So I change from a shirt/sneakers into something a little more classy when I go out.
/r/seduction15/04/18 08:41 PM

Of course it will affect you. The question is whether you are OK with the changes that it brings. Personally, I like the fact that I can match with women who are living in different parts of the city I live in. Who I would never have run into because of geographical constraints. It expands the dating market immensely. But there is still a thrill in talking to strangers and potentially hooking up with them and everything that involves. So I still go out by myself whenever I get bored.

I’m from a similar background. I came here for grad school but quickly learned an American accent. I don’t know if that really makes much difference; but what I noticed is that we Indians speak a lot faster than Americans. So a lot of what I learnt was to modulate my voice, to speak slower with a deeper more sonorous and confident voice. Personally I don’t think American women care about the accent as long as you can speak slowly, clearly and with confidence

Bro, you and me both. Definitely good to hear this from another brown guy. I gave it some thought and I think it’s just statistics: you’re much more likely to run into white girls when you’re in the US. Also... if you’re in Austin, dm me! I started going out seriously only since 2013 though so my lay count is much lower 😉

This isn’t universally true. Cliques are a part of college life of course but college girls basically want to have a good time to tell their friends about. If you can do that, they don’t really care about much else; the understanding is that most relationships are temporary.

From how you describe it, seems like she always knew that you would be interested no matter what and was just playing around because she had nothing better to do on a Tuesday evening. It isn't wrong to just hang out as friends, but if you want more but don't express it: She doesn't know you want more. That will bore her and also she will be hesitant to make any sexual move or conversation. She will think either that you are a coward for wanting it but not asking for it So it just never works to …

You don’t see approaches because most approaches are executed well. Even if they aren’t it’s VERY hard to actually catch a cold approach at the right moment to know exactly what happened. Usually what you see are a guy and a girl are talking and you automatically assume they know each other well or for a long time. Girls are being approached all the time in bars everywhere.

It’s completely normal to feel awkward and weird going alone to a bar. Most people, especially many women, just don’t do it at all ( trying not to sound misogynistic here; it’s a cultural thing in the US at least. Heard it might be different across the pond). One way others judge you is by how social you are with your own friends; if you are then you seem easier to talk to and such. There really isn’t any way around this except for choosing bars where you like to hang and form a relationship wit…

It is ridiculously easy to tell when someone is trying to impress you or if they want something from you. Seriously. Its not just about sex, but about anything. The only thing you can really do is internalize the fact that there are others and try not to give anyone special treatment right away.

This seems like a really good instadate; excellent job writing this FR! My only feedback would be to not assume anything since she is religious, although the logistics did point out to it being difficult to close. HOWEVER, here's the thing, you never know unless you make a move. Wow, great work /u/ThrowawayPUA ! Nick Sparks has been one of the most influential people in my life, chiefly from his 3 videos on youtube. I'm not really looking for wings but like every person on the internet I can give some advice (lived here 5 years now). 6th street is definitely a party street, but it has different parts. Dirty sixth is the collegy, clubby part which gets a bad rep because of all the college kids and panhandlers. However, you will also find some of the most beautiful women here so it does have it advantages. East 6th is a lot more hipster and chill, inhabited by young adults who are somewhat over the "crazy par…

You should consider talking to a therapist about such things, not asking random strangers on the internet for advice. That being said: people become comfortable with these things at different times and in different ways. I felt a little like you did when I was your age too. It's only after a lot of sexual experience that I feel comfortable with joking about or talking about these things in general. What exactly is your question here? She was obviously interested in you. If she is the only person in her group dancing, of course she will look back at her friends. There are a lot of things that are red flags here. You shouldn't be waiting for a month to meet someone in real life. Exceptions include when you really enjoy the conversations, both of you seem interested but can't seem to make it because life gets in the way sometimes. But it shouldn't be due to a lack of desire (which does seem to be the case here). You should have the courage to call people out on their behavior. If you made plans for a movie with her, remember that you are putting aside som…

Don't worry about the big slut thing. There are lots of women who love to hook up. Just keep looking, but do learn from your mistake so next time you don't repeat it. There's really nothing you can do about the constant obsession with a missed opportunity except to realize that you will probably have something similar again so remember to handle it better so you won't feel so miserable next time.

Its really shocking to see how the entire interaction changes from that one mistake. Before I knew about this stuff, I considered myself to be fundamentally asocial just because of how many times something similar would happen. She was all nice and interested, ONE bad move later and BAM! Her whole attitude changed. And it seems to have created this death spiral where she would say more nasty things about OP and he would continue to joke/ignore it. I'm curious about why she stopped by on her way …

This is a really good FR, thanks for taking the time to write it up. I liked your advice of not caring when people ignore you for a specific attribute: being non-white myself, I would often feel crushed when I felt judged for my race when going out. But like you say there's really nothing you can do to change other people's opinion of you, all you can do is try to have a good time.

Seduction is a skill, just like swimming or learning tennis. Do you think there is a tl;dr for any of them? I fucking hate this mentality of "get rich quick". Every skill needs time and patience to hone and make better. You won't get better overnight. It will take months, possibly years of efforts. Which is why the sidebar has so much material: its to help you along that multi-year journey, with advice specific to different skill levels.

You are putting wayy too much pressure on yourself. One of the things we tell a lot of beginners is to not take things so personally: girls are humans and even if you do everything right there will be external factors that will make her not want to be with you. Or want to be with someone else you consider "less attractive" than you. As a side note, you should stop categorizing people as such. I know that all of us have this ranking system for everyone, but just think about how sexual attraction …

I'm sorry to hear you were bullied and picked on. Have you considered that the girls that picked on you actually might have been interested in you which is why they were bullying or making fun of you? I had a similar experience... girls in my class would laugh at me because I had a weird laugh and that made me very anxious so I would try to avoid laughing around girls and it really fucked me up for a long time. The same principles apply to sorority girls as to any women. You're of course at a disadvantage if you're not in a fraternity: they will often have formals/socials/parties for the silliest reasons and being part of a fraternity you get access to these events, even get to plan them.

This has been a very informative thread. I do want to point out that, staying away from "the crazies" does require a certain amount of awareness, intelligence and self-control, especially for men that don't have much experience, and this can lead to certain pathological situations and relationships. By no means am I placing the blame on anyone, just observing that these things do happen. And there really doesn't seem any solution except self-awareness on the part of both parties. You're trying wayy too hard with this particular girl. Just because she said you were funny doesn't mean you have to be funny all the fucking time. She was expressing interest in you. Now, by taking it too far, you not only demonstrated that you don't know how to handle her subtle expression of interest, but also showed that you are so insecure that you are willing to do anything to conform to the fact that you are funny. There are a ton of late to very late bloomers. A lot of men get into pickup after their first/multiple divorces even, when they finally feel that their approach towards dating is messed up and needs to be changed. A majority of PUA's are also late bloomers; it makes sense if you read about their life. They were awkward teenagers or in college, found pickup and studied and practiced until they got really good. Most naturals don't know or care about the principles, since they have experience in ho…

I watched 3 infields today from 3 different pickup coaches including the biggest in the world, RSD, and teh interactions all looked like the OP's. This tells me literally nothing. Seduction is not a sport which you analyze sitting at home and watching videos. That is why you "don't see it", because your experience and reference seem to be other pickup videos, rather than interacting with and seducing real women.

Power to you, friend. Its important to be honest with yourself about such things. I've seen way too many guys wait around on a girl in the hopes that she will someday, someday be interested in something romantic. Guess what? Waiting around itself is anti-romantic lol.

Like daygamer0911 said, you're putting off a desperation vibe. Just because you're from the US doesn't make you cool; don't expect people to be automatically interested. Also, you're comparing a town in Texas to one of the biggest cities in the motherfucking world. People will in general not be as friendly.

This. Especially when she asked you about it explicitly. Most women are never that forward, and you just showed why: they do not like to be rejected explicitly this way, by guys who don't have the balls to ask for what they wan't. Apologies for being harsh, but this is exactly what it means to be a man: not to coerce women into sex, but to be bold and forthright about what you want. What do you expect to happen now? Its not gonna work out. You blew it, plain and simple. Move on.

This is absolutely the best advice. I want to just add some context around cultural norms and how monogamy came to be so dominant in the first place. When you live in smaller towns or in rural areas where the social circles are small, it makes sense that you would reasonably expect to be a virgin, to marry another virgin, and to accept that there aren't that many options anyway; your best chances of family are to adjust, adjust and adjust some more to accommodate another human being because ther…

This is an excellent comment. Online and in-person dating should and can be complementary. A small note about online dating: Like the OP said, the quality isn't the best, but you can still find great women that you wouldn't meet otherwise for logistical reasons. Many good quality women are on the dating apps for a short time; b/w relationships, just divorced etc. Once they find someone they delete/disable their accounts (in my experience). Your failure to understand why your behavior is anti-social is not an indication of a conspiracy on the part of Silicon Valley or tech companies. Nor does it give you the right to willingly post in a subreddit about seduction, and criticize its moderators when you get a response. If you think you're still right, then find a subreddit or community where people will welcome your behavior. You've basically been told by everyone here and on OKCupid that you are not welcome.

You haven't really given much specifics or examples of your interactions, so I would say its not a well written FR. But I do think its a great idea to approach a lot. Its better than the alternative: not approaching at all and staying in your head the whole time. But you probably need to work on your approach to get more success. You should regret not thinking this through better. If its a girl from class, then you should really be asking her out in the course (lol) of a conversation. Asking her out on facebook is soooo beta lol. Generally, I avoid the D word (LOL), you should be asking her to hang out and maybe watch a movie, hang out over drinks and so on. You can try asking in /r/relationship_advice, you might get more viewpoints about this. But basically, my advice would be to follow your instincts. Open relationships can be great when both you are your partner are comfortable with it. Most of us grow up in a conservative background so polygamous relationships can seem a little weird at first. If you feel she is not OK, just talk to her honestly about why you want it, if she is really OK with it, and be prepared to end it if she isn't.

Even that is considered manipulation by many people. I think this advice is pretty good, to not "introduce" these ideas to friends. You've got to be at peace with yourself, and comfortable with being alone. I had sex for the first time when I was 24. It was only when I turned 22 that I started seriously focusing on seduction, and by that I mean learning more about how to have a fun conversation with women, how to be more social etc. Also had to work on my body and fashion to look decent (you don't have to be the best dressed guy, but you do need to look like someone who put in some thought into his wardrobe). This has caused…

You've both be having a good time. In general, its a better idea to just go for it at some point. There really are only 2 outcomes: she will kiss you back or reject you. However: she will now know, in no uncertain terms, that you are really into her. Its better to go for it earlier in the night so that later you can try again and maybe see how it goes. That said, if you don't see any natural way to do it, its better to ask than to not.

ThrowawayPUA has a great answer, but to add to that: there might be a million reasons. She might be back with her ex. Super busy with a work project. Met someone else and clicked. Maybe she didn't like the sex. Don't be fucking clingy, give her space and move on. After some time passes, she might think back and wonder if she made a mistake and contact you again. Or she may not; not much you can do until she reaches out.

Wait... what? Did you go out specifically on a date? Just the two of you? If so why didn't you isolate and make out? Kino is not a way of getting validation. Its a way of testing whether someone is into you. So instead of going for the makeout, you rely on kino and see if the person is receptive. If they are, you escalate to the makeout, at least.

OK so here's the thing, since you're a noobie: you are going to get laid on Friday, unless you mess up. Don't text her unless she texts you first. If she does, keep it brief/flirty. Or if you want to text her about some common thing you talked about, do it but keep it brief. Don't have a text novel, in other words. She invited you to her place, that means she wants to fuck. Now, she definitely shit tested you and you kinda failed spectacularly :D. But she still likes you, so you're good. More on…

Dude you showed wayy too much interest in her, made it clear that you have absolutely nobody else and nothing else to do. She knows she can basically make any excuse and you will forgive her. Why are you letting one girl walk over you? Do you really not feel even slightly disturbed by the fact that she did not bother calling you back after she felt better? Move on. There are women out there who would actually be really happy to have dinner with you. Find them.

She's working and thus she has to be nice and flirty with you. You shouldn't read too much into it, try to meet other women in the bar. If you really do want this to work: befriend all the bartenders, not just her. Be a regular. You will be invited into their social events if they think you are cool. It is there that you can find out whether she really digs you.

No worries. I was going to guess NYC. Tinder is great when you live in a dense city, not so much in smaller American cities which are not large enough to have soo many young single women (I'm guessing you are living in one of Australia's big cities where most Australians live). Also, they tend to be a little behind in adapting to new technologies. When I went to LA, I got some pretty amazing matches right off the bat. In my current city though, its not as popular/dense so I have to rely mostly o…

Uber/Lyft has changed that a lot. But I agree living close to the bars are definitely a HUGE advantage. A good rule of thumb is to live within 10-15 mins Uber from bars to your place. I'll admit I don't hookup/ONS as much as I would like. The few times it has happened, it ALWAYS went like this: quick attraction, isolation + makeout, immediate decision to go back to my place, heavy escalation in the 10 mins ride back home so that when we're back home, she is horny as fuck. You live in a boring as…

our own biggest cock-blocks and that you're cooler than you think. Yep. I see this soo many times when I'm at a bar, and I overhear a couple on a date. Most of the times the guy talks wayy too much, trying too hard to impress. I can literally feel the interest of the girl dropping haha. If a girl agrees to spend time with you, she has already shown she is interest. Keep it simple.

This is the best answer. One thing I will add: at some point you will HAVE to just go for a kiss. If she agreed to come over, she expects you to make a move. Don't puss out and say "I never found the right moment". Go for the makeout, if she rejects, you know she is not ready. If you don't you will never know. Once you do make out, you will have to keep escalating. Look up DiCarlo escalation ladder. Women don't get turned on immediately like men, you need to work on her, to make her feel turned …

Any thoughts, any ideas what I could do to shift some of my mindset from the gym to actually meeting women? Yes. Don't go to the gym so much, and actually meet women. Why is this so fucking hard to understand? Do you think women will automatically end up in your house? You have to somehow meet them.
/r/seduction15/09/17 09:28 PM

This is great advice and it actually hits on a more important fact: most men just don't approach. If you approach, you are already doing much better than most men. And why try and complicate the approach? Keep it simple, so you never have to think about "What should I say?".

You don't have to have an attractive face, although that does help. The great thing about the modern society is that you have other ways to display your attractiveness: clothes, smell, tonality, body language etc. Men judge women by their looks so we assume women do the same, which is not true. Like I said, I'm not saying it doesn't help if you look like Brad Pitt, but you can look like Moe and still pull.

This is going to happen a LOT and the answer really is: don't follow up if they don't respond. I know it SUCKS, you fucking made out and now she won't even respond? There can be a MILLION reasons why she won't respond, and if she kissed you its probably not because she doesn't like you. She most likely does, but has bf/busy life/other guys/other commitments whatever. Once again, don't FUCKING RESPOND, if she doesn't. Oh boy this is so true. Especially if you meet women at bars/nightclubs and you exchange numbers when they are drunk. One thing I learned after this happening SO MANY TIMES is ABC. Always be closing the same night. Escalate when they show interest. If they say you're attractive, that's a MAJOR ioi: return complement, lock in eye contact, isolate and close. Now, I'm not saying it will ALWAYS happen, that you will always close. What I'm saying is: numbers don't mean shit. Don't let her number fool…

Maybe try meeting women at museums, dance classes, extracurricular whatever. You can tell me why you don't think any of my suggestions won't work, and I don't really care. Yeah, I do think this is changing though. In the beginning of this year I went out with a much older lady (50+) but the sex was fucking incredible since she knew exactly how to pleasure a man. But also, she had taken care of herself and her body and had amazing legs. But you are correct that many older women do give up on trying to stay in shape or looking good. There has been a lot of material and discussion on seduction forums about the distinction b/w a "nice guy" and guys who think they are "nice". Most of the latter subconsciously believe in some kind of "trade": i.e. if they're nice, helpful etc. the woman will sleep with them. And when that doesn't happen, they get mad/disappointed/disenchanted. The problem in this scenario (others have commented on this as well) is that its just not how things work. If a guy wants a sexual relationship with a gi…

Probably has a lot to do with the environment. Bars/Clubs tend to be a little more obnoxious and rowdy, because people are drunk, women are on their guard to keep away the creeps etc. In literally any other venues, women will be a lot more open to you.

TLDR: A guy who shows confidence is basically signalling that he will not hesitate from taking action when it is required. That is what women find attractive. Like others have said, there's evolutionary pressure, but a more banal reason is that most people, both men and women, don't want to do all the fucking work in a relationship or a hookup. A guy with confidence is a guy who will take charge of the night, of her experience and won't be shy of making a move at the right time. The most frequen…

This is true. Real world interaction beats online hands down. However, what I've seen is that Tinder helps you cast a wider net, so to speak. You seem to have a rather black & white view of girls. In your life, you will tend to stick around with girls who you have a good connection with for longer than with those that you don't. But don't expect every girl to be like the perfect one you dated before... This is actually a pretty interesting article. I think one of the reasons why older women seem to be a lot better at sex (imo) is that they generally have some kind of financial and life stability, while younger women tend to be in the figuring things out stage a lot longer. Its not as much as we lose our ability as much as the paradigm we are taught since we were young kids. Its very hard to unlearn things that you learn when you're very very young. The paradigm is to keep women on a pedestal, to be gentlemen etc. And while chivalry is good and nice, most men overdo it. Most women are turned off by men who are too nice to them, because it feels like a fake relationship. They want to bond with men as openly as they bond with their female friends. But probably even m…

In my experience, 95% of men in this world are absolutely clueless about the principles of attraction, whereas maybe 80% women know this stuff really fucking well (and by this stuff I mean: how to read body language, confidence intentions etc.). The reason why men are so clueless is simply because our society is so massively directed by culture and media to some really weird ways of attracting mates. When I personally became aware of the importance of voice tonality and started applying those lessons (i.e. always speak with a lower pitch), the difference in reception was absolutely night and day. Hmmm, I'm trying to understand how his comment was misogynist. Genuinely curios. Is it because he referred to some women as warpigs? Or is it something else? Would it be a better question if it was framed differently? If he hadn't used the term "warpig" would the question still be misogynistic? I feel like this is an interesting question (misogyny aside, if that is possible). Men put a LOT of emphasis on physical/outward beauty and it seems like women don't; which is why one would see a not conv…

Your answer is generic and in my honest opinion why this subreddit is degrading. You can downvote me all you want, i'm just being honest with you. That's because we're not your shrinks here. We only have a very vague idea of what exactly is going on, and thus can only recommend general solutions. You mention you have a problem with escalating. Exactly what do you mean by that? Are you afraid to talk of sexual things? Are you not able to modulate your voice to be more sexual when you want to? Are…

Unfortunately, you seem to be asking the wrong questions. This is not to discourage you, I'm just pointing out my observation. A lot of women say, and a lot of magazines and common knowledge is, that a guy has to have a sense of humor. Note that its not that you have to be funny as much as to have a sense of humor. As ThrowawayPUA said, he got a better reaction to "saying funny things" rather than "telling a joke". That is the difference between a sense of humor and being funny. So the right que…

I don't have any other way of putting this, but its really awesome being a guy if only because society expects guys to be the one to initiate conversation, to be forward and a little aggressive (note: I mean it when I say little; definitely do not encourage rapey/stalkery behaviors ) and be rejected. A lot of my female friends complain that they don't find the right guys or whatever, and I tell them they need to be a little more forward. Fundamentally, I don't think most men and women are that d…

What exactly do you mean "harder to land", exactly? What do you mean by "quality of the guy"? It depends on what you want. Do you want hookups, or are you looking for long term relationships? You have to tailor your approach accordingly. And there is a lot of material besides Models that will help you do just that. This sub is, for better or for worse, tailored a lot from the male point of view. The techniques are slightly different but there are still many common principles.

Your view of the world is kinda limited which is why it bothers you so much. Rejection hurts no matter how experienced you are, the thing with experienced folks is that they don't brood over it. And they don't brood over it because they believe that there are a lot of different girls out there who would accept them. So a rejection hurts somewhat less. Also, it helps when you have other things going on in your life so that relationships don't take all your focus. Its hard to not think about women…

If the idea of going to a particular bar or club isn't something you'd consider fun if there were no girls there, if girls are the only reason you'd go, then you ought to find a different place to go. I have a question about this. I mean, sure there are bars which I will go to regardless of others. But if I go to e.g. a nightclub, I am definitely hoping there are girls there that I can dance/makeout/hookup with. The problem with this scenario is you are coming in to seek someone whose inhibitions and ability to think have been notably lowered below yours. well 1st up, 'creepy' is a subjective social opinion, and thus the best way to define it is by broader social opinion No its not. You can objectively define behaviors that are creepy. No requirement for broader social opinion. Girls are not innocent angels, they get drunk for the same reason guys do: to lower inhibitions, to be more social, to have a good time. Stop shaming guys who want to club sober into thinking they are creepy: they are not creepy for simply going to a club solo, whatever th…

Its only creepy if you exhibit creepy behaviors. Its your paradigm which is actually not the right one, and please don't use validation from "broader cross section of society". Seduction and some of the concepts are still somewhat taboo in society. The simple fact is that people go out to have fun, and hooking up is a part of that experience. This question comes up at least once every month. The answer is no. You will be incredibly anxious sober though, unless you can really tune it out (if you can do that, awesome). This has been my experience as well. Sexting seems to work only after the actual sex, not with strangers. I've felt really shitty doing this but here's my thinking after going out quite a bit: most (not all) unattractive women are also not very good at conversation, if only because their confidence is fucked in a bar/nightclub situation. So neither do I get to be the guy talking to an attractive girl, nor am I having a good time just talking and vibing off each other. You should talk to women first. Stop being pig headed. BTW I'm only replying to your comment because I do see you contributing some great content and do think there is value to engage in a useful conversation with you. Dancing is one of the most natural non-verbal ways of expressing interest. If a woman won't talk to you, she won't fuck you. Period. That's your personal experience, and I beg to differ. Sometimes a woman will dance with you and not fuck you. That is totally tangential to the poin…

It can go either ways. Personally, the more attractive women know that they're attractive and are pleasantly surprised that you had the courage to approach them, and will even help you out unless its a major blowout. The date ends and I don't go for it again because I assume she will just think I'm another dickbot OR she will think that you were not attracted or aggressive enough to try again. Never ask for a number. Always set up plans. e.g. Hey, lets meet over a drink at 8pm at AwesomeBar. And then before meeting, if you're still on she will most likely give your number, or you can give her yours. Point being: number is just a means to an end. HOWEVER: if she wants to add you on fb, she is interested but not 100% sure of you. So if you have a good profile on fb, it will make her feel more comfortable about hanging out with you.

What? You say nothing about shit tests at all. The title is very misleading. Also, point 1 is just complete nonsense. You don't deliberately create obstacles in your life. If you're getting it too easy, then maybe challenge yourself in productive ways. Like maybe learn a new skill that would make you more valuable at work, do a tiring new workout routine, new dance etc. Or even (since this is a seduction forum) go out and open challenging sets.

No, but having the balls to call her out in a natural, non-needy way can do a great deal for your self esteem.
/r/seduction29/03/17 03:04 AM

I don't understand this obsession with "asking her what happened." He knows what happened. She got his text and ignored it. What obsession are you talking about? If this was another guy, OP would definitely call him out on flaking on him right? It seems like the most natural thing to do. The fact of asking is proof that it did affect him. Nope, like I pointed out before its just what regular people do in these circumstances.
/r/seduction29/03/17 03:02 AM

This is actually a pretty good point. If they weren't in a situation in which they were constantly meeting each other, then it would be as simple as never meeting or seeing her again. If you go to the same class, you are definitely going to see her again and it would be pretty obvious that OP was butthurt. The correct course of action is to immediately ask her what happened and why she didn't show up. But do so in a way where its obvious that it didn't affect you at all. OP still got to see a ki…

I wonder how long it will take for the institution of marriage to not be deemed as "inevitable" but something that only interested parties chose to do. In a lot of other cultures, there are formal structures for ensuring that young people are paired and are married (e.g. arranged marriage). Even in the US, a lot of really young people get married just because that's supposed to be the "next step" in their life.

You know what you want to do but you want others to tell you in case you are wrong after you do it. What do you think you should do? Think about it objectively. Seriously. And then just do it and never look back.

Well, to be honest I think its more of a cultural thing to hate pua and to immediately associate it with creepy douchebags. I don't know if that will ever change, because there are TONS more creeps who completely misinterpret some of the concepts; or perhaps get some warped ideas from creepy sites and apply them. And frankly to the people that know these things, it just doesn't make sense to advocate too much for it unless you get some kind of benefit. So most well known pua's are open about it …

First of all, I'm really sorry for your loss. You are an extremely lucky person to have inherited that much wealth; many people don't manage to scrape that much in an entire lifetime. My advice would be to NOT blow it away trying to impress women, but invest it in your future. Pay off any debts you have, or go to college if you haven't so far. Get an MBA. Invest that money in index funds. If you REALLY want to impress women, then I would suggest traveling. You are more likely to find a ton of in…

Being outrageous is not the same as being gross and disgusting. And you can most certainly tease and be outrageous while not being gross and disgusting. If it has "worked" for you, great. I don't know what you mean by it has "worked" for you though. Can you give me a specific interaction of how it worked? And I'm not calling you a liar: I'm genuinely curious about how such an interaction can lead to sex/number.

Unfortunately, you do need to lose weight OR be really unafraid of cold approaching and getting rejected. The simple fact is that our society values certain traits a lot and being fit is certainly one of them. So If you want to improve your chances, you do need to live a healthier life. That being said, you can focus on other things that will also help you. Try to get a better voice tonality. What exactly do you tell them and how do they react? This seems like a really strange problem and you may be generalizing from a few experiences. In general, college chicks are very adventurous and are open to dating/fucking all kinds of men, since they're getting "experience" (of course this is not for all college girls). And if you're in the Marines, I can't see why that would hurt you.

This is a great example of how to NOT be sexual, but to be gross and disgusting. And you are right in that their response will be "ewww" because that is the right response to a gross statement.

You NEVER suggest fwb, ever. The way you get a fwb is by approaching/dating a lot of women and not asking them to hang out in a relationshippy manner. e.g. you suggest going to bars and clubs, but not to hang out all the time or text all the time. A fwb situation is basically when both of you don't really want much from the relationship except the sex. Obviously this means you have to be good at sex; but its not a requirement. You just shouldn't be terrible. Also, it should be very very low expe…

I think the way I make the conversation sexual is simply by bringing up sexual topics in the general conversation. If you haven't been to a lot of parties, you have missed out on tons of opportunities to be acclimated to that environment. So I'm gonna make a prediction: you're gonna be nervous and it most likely won't turn out very well. You will maybe try and talk to a few girls. If your stars are really aligned, it might turn out to be awesome. But most likely it will just not. You gotta ask yourself what is important to you. If you don't feel like approaching/talking to women, take a break. Focus on yourself for a little bit: work harder, go to the gym more, try learning a new skill, learn dancing or read more books. Travel. etc. One thing you should not worry about really is not having a girlfriend or the number of makeouts or closes. Every one of us is different and develops differently; don't be disheartened just because you are taking more time.

Men normally chase status through fame, money, and possessions, but this is incredibly inefficient because women’s brains didn’t evolve to respond to Ferrari’s or mansions, external status symbols didn’t exist in the environment we evolved in. Instead, women evolved to respond to the emotional signals of status, because they couldn’t be faked This. Is. Gold.

This kinda stuff is better to write in your personal diary and keep track of to improve as you keep building up on new experiences. That said, it looks like you aren't offering much value to the women or aren't interested enough. Probably you need to work on your fashion sense. Agreed. Also, the only guaranteed way to do anything well is by habit i.e. doing it often enough. If you feel like you see a lot of opportunities when you go out to approach but don't take advantage of them, good! At least you recognize those opportunities, that's the first step. Keep putting yourself in those situations and eventually, you will become acclimated to the environment and start taking risks... that is the MOST important thing, because that is the ONLY thing you can control.

I would read the sidebar ----> There's a lot of material there on approaching and what to say. But basically, its very subjective. For absolute beginners, the recommendation is to initiate any kind of social contact; e.g. by asking the time. Haha, yes. This was totally counter intuitive to me at first...but if you're having a conversation and the context is dating, you have got to show that you're sexually interested by checking her out. Dude, how many times will you keep asking these questions? Approaching women is not like solving a mathematical problem: its more of a social problem. Your approach to solving it thus has got to be different. If you were a total dirtbag and yet were able to fake social cues, you would still attract women (opposite is true as well). Its not a rational process governed by any rules that can be universally applied...unless you can quantify social cues and such. Can a good approach overcome a number…

It takes phenomenal discipline for the average man to put the sexual urge in its proper place, its "useful" place, and be a master of it rather than it being your master. Well said. In general girls who aren't attractive in a conventional sense are not used to getting the attention of attractive men, so they basically don't know how to initiate contact, kino etc. It seems like you are the passive party in the interaction, i.e. you expect the women to make the moves and flirt and shit. There are no "rules" in seduction.... That rule is only if the girl is not showing sufficient interest. In this case, it seems that she does want to hang out with you but she is either 1) Nervous and flaking out at the end or 2) Had genuine reasons for not meeting you. In either case, if you really want to meet her you have to build some rapport and interest by texting (not too much mind you).

You're providing very little details. Which means: we cannot really evaluate the situation and help you much, since we don't know what it is. Hahaha yes that happens. All I can say is: there is no one way to make all women (or all people, generally) happy. This is where you understand with more experience: some women love to hear what you said, others are turned off by it. Personally, I make small gestures and see the reaction and then escalate based on that. e.g. if I text her and she replies almost immediately and is curious to know about my day, it means she likes to be in touch via text, so I will continue doing that. There are many reasons for this. It can be any one or all of them. Girls are treated VERY well by the staff at most clubs, with free drinks, bartenders talking to them etc. This is simply because the more attractive girls in a club, the better its reputation, and both men and women will flock there. So, the staff will be nice to the girls, they will usually know each other, have seen each other before etc. This is just slightly more comfortable than total stranger who can possibly be a complete …

There is also the "missing out" factor, especially in social settings. e.g. if you're in a club, and you start talking to a group of girls and don't get rejected right away, it makes other girls who are looking about think that they missed an opportunity. BTW this stands true for men as well haha.

And it doesn't help that "seduction" is most often associated with skeevey/sleazy characters. So please be careful when talking about these things. I guess this is rather subjective, but a watch for me is more of a fashion accessory. I have a couple of Komonos and they're all I need to go with the clothes that I wear. I think apple watch (and maybe other such devices) are a different category though. I only recently got the apple watch. Its pretty useful and not just for the time. I wasn't too excited about it and only got it because of a huge discount at work. But its great for tracking workouts, controlling music and also reminds you to s…

YES. This is actually the best way, since it gives a reason, however flimsy, for her to give you her number. Remember, regardless of how amazing you might be, when you meet someone for the first time, you are a random stranger you know nothing about. This makes it a lot more natural, especially if there are other people nearby, since most women don't want to be labelled as slutty, as someone who gives out her number to complete strangers (Yeah society is messed up, but it is what it is).

Hmm this advice makes sense. I had the same situation: met a girl at a concert, made out/grinded with her, hands in pants, whatever. Got her number to meet up the VERY NEXT DAY and nothing happened. My frame was: hey, we made out already, we're gonna have sex.

The hard truth is that you will never have so much easy access to women and sex as you will in college. However, if you played your cards right and can get a good job/career/whatever and live in a good city, you can continue to have a good time. As an adult, you now have a lot more opportunities opened up to you. You can work, travel, change cities, start a company, write a book whatever. That is an exciting journey as well.

It might be true that women want something amazing, but it doesn't mean that they won't still date/kiss/fuck you if you're not. Of course women will have some mental checklist, so do men, so do all human beings. Doesn't mean that you need to know or care about them at all.

Which city do you live in? I can't really see myself doing this sort of thing where I live (moderately dense urban area) because if you go to bars and don't buy drinks, the bartenders are not gonna like you very much. Are you going mostly to clubs or also to bars? How long do you stay in every club or bar? This is a good FR. Thanks for writing it!

You're being rather butthurt about the reality that: 1. She is a girl (who seems attractive and who) is desired by other men. 2. You (in your own estimation) are not a good-looking guy. You can't really make her change her mind, regardless of how much you "game". It is a 2 player game. She was friendly with you at first, but then you put too much pressure. You were mad she was flirting with other guys. Some girls love doing that; instead of accepting that as a fact, you were mad at her for...not…

Most women are quite uncomfortable with giving out their phone numbers to complete strangers, even if she was friendly. Adding on facebook works kinda better for many reasons: 1. She can check out what kinda life you have, what your friends look like etc. 2. She can unfriend you if your conversation becomes hostile for whatever reason (a lot of guys do this apparantly) So don't that request to your heart, its just a convenient way to check out your character.

Firstly, masterful FR. It was a very enjoyable read. Hope you continue to post more! The 32 y/o was totally into you. When you guys were alone, you really should have gone for a kiss. I can see why her friends' hostility would affect you, and it is rather alarming when strangers have such a negative opinion of you without even knowing you well, but such is the way nightlife works. Don't take it personally, and focus on the one thing that was going well. From what you describe, the 32 y/o was loo…

Yeah, I kinda agree that the post comes short in details. One of the things that makes an FR good is when it actually helps other guys in their game, which this doesn't seem to, due to lack of details. There are, however, a lot of people here that have never had a ONS and there is frequently a disbelief amongst them that such a thing is even possible/happens regularly and how to do it if it is. So I think such FR's serve that purpose by showing real scenarios how this can happen.

If you're being serious: no its not. From quickly meeting in person, to maintaining strong eye contact and then escalating, those are all principles of seduction.

This is a great point. Why is it that most guys make crude approaches? I get it if they're drunk or whatever, but it seems like a poor way of getting to know another human being? Also, if they make crude approaches and it doesn't work out, wouldn't they be incentivized to learn to make better approaches?

What is counter-intuitive? From what I read, he is basically asking us to take action even though we know it might fail, like going for a kiss on a date, or escalating with someone you just met, or expressing your real intentions rather than waiting for the right moment. I agree it takes some courage to take action, but the action itself isn't what is hard to know. A lot of times you know this intuitively but either our habits or our paradigms are such that we don't act on it.

This was a very entertaining FR. OP, thanks for posting this. It was rather ballsy standing up to the big buy; like you realized he was just a bully. Most bullies won't actually do something, but they do like to intimidate. And most women will know this as well. The girl was definitely interested. You build attraction in a variety of nonverbal ways. Eye contact is one of the best to create an instant connection/attraction. The way you move (slow, taking your time, without sudden movements), the WAY you talk (voice tone, speed etc), everything plays into making you seem either attractive or the opposite. Once you're in a relationship, you generally lose the social skills that you acquired when you were single and gaming. Its not a bad thing: its just the way it is. Every skill needs to be honed to keep it sharp. Since you've done it already, it should be easier for you to learn those skills again.

You have to make your intentions clear ASAP, otherwise the girl will interpret it as lack of sexual interest and will friend zone you just to be safe. Ideally, the first time you meet, you need to expose the confident, sexual vibe rather than a friendly, funny one.

Like another user mentioned, it can be a Georgia specific thing. I've noticed in general, the South being much more conservative and christian also translates into being less well read and traveled. But is going through a friend like that a bad method? No, its definetly not. I like the idea of being direct since you immediately find out whether there is interest or not. But on the flip side, most people are rather wary of strangers, not to mention sparking a romantic relationship, especially if you're not the best looking one. So my go-to line is now: "I enjoyed our conversation. Let's hang out sometime. Give me your number." I've wondered about this a lot since it touches at the very core of my insecurity in a relationship. What you said is absolutely true though. I suspect the world has changed so fast in the past few decades that our morals and society has had trouble catching up with some facts. There are a lot of people in Vegas who come there for the same reason why you do. And gaming in Vegas in easier since its not "your" city anyways so it doesn't matter if you fuck up horribly. Humor plays a large part in easing social tensions...and so does alcohol. I do find this kind of thing happens a lot more when the approach is a little sudden. I.e. if you start talking to a girl who is shopping, her frame of mind is basically something else. People have different personalities. One of the best things to happen in modern life is the recognition that masculinity and femininity are traits that are actually quite divorced from genders, that everyone has a mixture of both traits. Taking the lead is a more masculine trait. Its perfectly normal to not want to always make decisions all the time. There will be women who find that attractive i.e. they like making decisions and taking the lead. I'm guessing you just have to find them.

This is a rather negative comment, and apologies in advance, but it sounds like you still have issues in getting acceptance from women. 'inconsistent, indecisive, emotional, frequently annoying', well, men are like that also, in fact, most people are, regardless of gender. I suspect the reason for so much hate towards women may simply be that heterosexual men can only reach a certain level of intimacy only with women, and not with other men. This might be why rejection and breakups hurt so bad.

What makes a conversation interesting? Its really an art form to be able to have great conversations, but most of it is basically: active listening. You need to be curious in what the other person has to say even if you have no experience in that area. For more information, check out the sidebar --->

Tell me, what exactly do you plan on doing? Your text game is not good. You should have suggested something concrete instead of asking for a schedule. "Drinks on Tuesday night at the X bar. 9pm". You need to make it so that all she needs to say is Yes or No. Everyone is lazy, including women. Anyways, if she hasn't texted you back she is just not interested. Move on.

Firstly, this is a very good FR. You haven't detailed much, so I'm going to assume that either you're an attractive man or dress and behave attractively or both. The good thing is that whatever it is you have/are doing, you are doing it right and women are attracted to you. Understand that we can't give you specific advice without knowing the specifics of your situation. Here are some general pointers though. It can be a million reasons, 99% have nothing to do with you or your actions. Your text game might have been shitty as well. You haven't provided specific information, so we can't give you specific advice. But it looks a lot like either she just got really busy with life or (more likely) your text game is shitty. Texting should be VERY limited; use it to set up meetings and nothing else.

If I had to guess, you were bad in bed. Women will NEVER say it to your face that they don't enjoy sex, but their actions later will reveal that. She wanted to have fun and you were not the person to fulfill that need. Also, always asking her to come back to your room sounds very boring. You could have diversified a little bit, gone somewhere else etc.

There is no bro code. From your description, the guy was pretty lame and the girl was not into him. He needs to work on his game before he gets successes on dates. Also, she GAVE you her number. She is not married to the guy, so you're really over-thinking this situation, I think.
/r/seduction08/05/16 01:19 AM

You are wayy overthinking this. Stop. There are more than one woman that you will find attractive. Stop putting this one on a pedestal. Are you suggesting that I should initiate even she is at the moment in a relationship? That sounds like blowing my chance right away tbh No. Your "chances" are the highest right now. If you make a move and she rejects you, she will still remember you as the guy who was confident enough to make a move.

The most gorgeous women get a shit ton of attention from guys hitting on them all the time. Most men (and women too) have a hard time accepting that fact. ThrowawayPUA made it clear but let me say it again: no girl is your property. You cannot make anyone behave a certain way. Regardless of whatever you may have "discussed" or sworn or whatever. The point of this subreddit is to identify actions and behaviors that allow you to get to the bottom of women's actions: why was that girl behaving like that? Why did she behave as I expected etc. The answer here seems to be: she wanted to see how you would react, and you possibly did not react in a way th…

OK, so how do you decide when to eject? Many times I've opened a set, had a great time, but they were just goofing around. OK, so I know the standard theory is that one must not go out with objectives for the night, but if a group is out just to have fun by themselves and another has women that are open to the idea of SNL, should I not be pursuing the latter instead of the former?

In the spirit of looking into the true meaning of these things: The mood is right, when YOU make it right. I think most women and men think that a kiss is appropriate only when you connect with the girl on a different level, and you're totally clicking and whatnot. No. You don't have to have that kind of moment...but you can create the mood. Using Kino escalation, you have a great time with the girl, and then the kiss will seem like the most natural thing.

I once asked a female friend of mine: "Isn't it creepy if a random guy just grinds with you?" Her response: "Not if I like him!" So, to answer your question, as long as you're congruent and confident, then yes (most) women will appreciate you for making an approach. BTW the only way to really find out is by trying.
/r/seduction01/05/16 03:13 PM

Isn't that part of what they say though? I've seen Tyler say repeatedly that failure is a big part of pickup, that most of the times you are going to get rejected. As a business, they do have to promote the successes, which I guess can be misleading if that caveat is not known.

This is real life, man. There are some situations when a girl will get angry even if you say hi to her. Shit happens. Btw, I completely agree with the other comments here. Its generally a very very bad idea to touch/grab women from behind. This community does encourage touching (kino), but there's an escalation ladder. You generally have to have a conversation with the person, or at least approach from the side, or from the front. Most guys fail to realize the constant fear women are in of being…

You have to learn how to escalate. You mention mystery method, but did you really follow it? I hate to say it, but you had it pretty easy; she agreed to go home with you. The only way to find out if she wanted you was to attempt to kiss her: did you do that? If she is really into you (which it sounds like she is), you will have maybe one more date with her until you get friend zoned. So on that next date, be sure to make a move.

Read the sidebar ---> Understand that this sub is heavily focused on the US. Its specific to the culture of this country, which is a lot more liberal than in India. So many of the things here do not apply in India. But most of the part about Inner Game is universal so that should be very helpful. I just want to leave you with this: if you're truly serious, understand that it will TAKE TIME.
/r/seduction17/04/16 11:37 PM

+1. Anecdotally, it depends a lot on which city you live in. Mumbai and Bangalore are probably the best cities for a liberal bar environment. Like you said, there's still a ton of taboo and cultural norms involved which make it harder. e.g. kissing anywhere in public is a big NO (and public includes the inside of a bar).
/r/seduction17/04/16 11:34 PM

What about larger groups? A lot of times I've found that the group dynamics favor isolation/separation. e.g. in 90% of the cases, in a group of 5 women, there will be at least one who is not as attached to others. She came along just because she can't/doesn't want to go out alone. Do you actively try to deduce what the relations are within the group?

I don't think that's true, although I can see why you would come to that conclusion. Most guys can easily get to a certain level of attractiveness using sensible fashion sense and some amount of working out. Bitterness is the natural reaction to rejection, especially if it happens repeatedly. Sour grapes and whatnot. The important thing is to realize this is pretty natural and to not let it consume you (just like jealousy).
/r/seduction10/04/16 01:37 AM

But this is not playful. Depending on the context, if she's playing around with you, it comes off as being defensive and serious, which is a short step away from boring. I like ThrowawayPUA's answer much better.

shrug and maintain eye contact. "Are you surprised?" In general it depends on your personality. What works for me is to say as little as possible. Talk too much, and it comes across as desperate. You have to talk the minimal amount needed to maintain interest and push the conversation forward.

This is a great strategy. This is what I would say is meeting half-way. In fact, in our present society, its like meeting 90% of the way: you've explicitly showed that you are interested and all the guy needs to do is ASK. If he can't, then you are correct in that he will be pretty damn passive in everything else. I've seen this manifested in other ways as well: the most common thing that happens to me is that a girl will apologize for "accidentally" touching me at the bar. So, its not an approa…

/r/seduction01/04/16 11:28 PM

That is why the concept of an escalation ladder exists, and why body language is so important. No woman will tell you if she wants to escalate explicitly, so you need to read her body language well enough that you know when to proceed and when to stop. Yes, it can be hard at times, and many times there might be misunderstanding, but that is often called out early.

Excellent observation. The tone of your comment is slightly negative, so let me just add that its not a war or anything. Women don't go out just for the attention; they too are looking to meet an interesting person. But that's the keyword: Interesting. By saying all the same stuff "You're cute" "You're hot" or whatever, you are being very boring UNLESS you also have great body language. Its really just being comfortable with yourself and expressing that comfort to other people as well.

A couple of things: Its easier to make a comment or ask a question on what other people are saying. Genuinely listen to whoever is speaking, and then be curios and ask questions. Sometimes you might have something silly to say, say it and say it OUT LOUD. If you're not loud enough, nobody will listen. Note that you don't always have to say something, most of the time its better if you don't. Listen! Develop a deep confident voice and use it.

No, don't do that. Go out by yourself. There seems to be some cultural thing against going to bars alone. Or perhaps its just the fear. Go alone, be friendly and talk to people. It's not super easy, but you can get better at it. You do need to go out consistently though.

This is an incredibly negative comment. A lot of older men just love the environment of bars. They might like to drink the beer or watch a show. Or just ogle the women. So what? You have to be open and talk to her about it. It might not be the easiest conversation, but here's the thing: if you suppress that instinct, you wont feel good, and will blame this girl for it. Look into her eyes...wait for her to look into yours. Then: "Wanna make out?" Unless its an IMMEDIATE "NO", go for it. Since you were in the same room, she was waiting for you to make the first move. Women won't make the first move, but once you do, they will be infinitely more nice to you. So always make a move. You might feel like shit now, but keep it up brother. Really great post. I'm guilty of having done what is mentioned in the post haha: you get a few successes and then you feel that you are better than everyone else. I'm also guilty of sitting alone at the bar, but that is only when there aren't very many people in the bar itself. or maybe Im fooling myself right now also. I think the analysis is spot on though. There is an intense amount of bitterness and fear in both men and women, and neither one can seem to see each others POV. Guys don't under…

Its one of the growing pains of getting good at this thing. If you come from a more introverted background, there always seems to be a period of struggle involved where you get better. Remember this: you are going to miss THOUSANDS of such opportunities. There will be times when you obviously blow out. The important thing is to recognize the missed opportunity and move on. As to how to handle sleepless nights; get a hot chocolate :). Seriously, you need to find what works for you. Be creative...…

Don't worry about it too much. Keep your options open and keep the interaction fun and not serious. If she flakes 3 times, just remove her from tinder and move on. Why 3? IDK, it seems to be a natural law.

You know, that is a really good point. I keep thinking of how women must have high standards or something, but that is really very arbitrary: if you come off as attractive, the girl won't care about standards. If you're not traditionally attractive and she sleeps with you, she will rationalize the experience and portray you very creatively in a positive light: that is why some women find it so hard to get out of abusive relationships, even though they know the guy is not right, they still hold o…

So now he will complain about how women always sleep with douchebags, when op was clearly not one (or maybe he was? ;) Let's trust what OP said for now). Really good FR. If you are just starting out, know that you will probably not have a good night for a long time...until your mind gets used to the idea of going to bars. Know that not everyone is having fun at the bar. The girls might be laughing and the guys may have "dates"; look closely, the dates are "friends" and bigger mixed groups usually consist of women hanging out with guy "friends" as well. Also, at least where I live, 90% of the men have absolutely horrible game. So, if you feel like you're not havi…

The first 2 points are excellent; the last one, I have trouble agreeing to them. But that might be because I mostly go out by myself... so I usually look for places where there will be a decent sized crowd so I can talk to or dance with them. I mean, that is the whole point, basically, of going out. I agree completely that it would HELP if you enjoyed the bar/club as is, but even if you don't, just go anyways and check it out!
/r/seduction06/04/15 02:27 AM

RSD videos are good (somewhat) because they show you what you can get away with at a club. Just be aware that they get rejected a lot too, obviously they won't show all of that (although Tyler does show a lot to demonstrate this very point). Know that these guys go out almost every night and have light years more experience than you right now.

My experience is that it really depends on the environment and the kind of city/town that you live in. Direct openers work great in a bar if you are confident. In other less social avenues, I wouldn't be as comfortable opening directly. Nicks Sparks says that you should be dropping "hooks" so that you can start a conversation...basically, some way of forcing conversation by proximity. This is better suited in coffee shops and basically anywhere where you're forced to stand in line or in a group …

Kill nervous laughter...forever. By which I mean: don't make stupid little jokes and then giggle nervously and if she doesn't respond feel disappointed and rejected. Don't try to be funny...just make conversation and it will be good. Great post btw.

I feel for you brother. I used to be the same way, and sometimes even now I'm sometimes too afraid to make a move. Now here's the thing: remember the pain from this night? Yeah, it will haunt you for a while. Because you liked that girl, and you thought you were gonna fuck her. Its gonna hurt but after a while you will get over it. But just remember that next time, make a fucking move already. Never wait for the right moment. It can be something as simple as, 'Hey, wanna go outside and make out?…

I really hate it when other guys do that. Gentlemen, please be respectful to your less confident brothers who are out there on a limb. Conversely, if you're a confident person and in 'state', and you help another brother out, then he will be your best friend. Let's do more of that instead.

Golden rule right here. And at first you may not be super smooth about it, like in the movies...but even if you screw up, its ok! Movies are scripted, you see. The real world works in different ways.

In my case a little bit of alcohol (2 craft beers) gets me just slightly buzzed, so I'm not drunk, I'm super aware of things around me, but I kinda don't care about what others think anymore. I tend to approach a lot more and just mess around in that state more. So yes, I would say, it depends. Don't expect alcohol to solve everything, but it does help give you that initial push if you have approach anxiety.
/r/seduction13/02/15 04:09 AM
7

As others have posted, anxiety is usually caused by a scarcity mindset. When I started out, I too was super anxious. In my case, I would find every female sexually attractive and hope to hit on her. And I hated myself for being so desperate. The only way I found to get over that anxiety is to simply keep doing it again and again until you're subconscious is like, "Hey! This ain't so scary after all." and then you will be more relaxed.

Great post. I think what made her more attracted to you was simply that you were not desperate for her attention or for the date to go well, but confident and OK with it going either way. The former is something that most guys with a scarcity mentality (including myself) suffer from i.e. OMG im on a date with this beautiful girl, I hope I don't mess it up! Kinda feeling.

Not yet. I don't see this view shared by most women I meet either; however, you have to understand that media affects the public a LOT. So, if this thing catches on and becomes mainstream...that's when you'll have to worry about it. But if we stop it now in its infancy, I think we'll just never have to deal with that in the future.

I think going out alone is underrated, or is promoted as something only very confident guys do. Point being: unless they're great (or at least not douchebags) its better to go alone. Here's why. At first, being alone in a bar can be scary. I've tried doing the club/bar scene without drinking, and its hard, to say the least. I generally try not to rely on alchohol for courage, but sometimes it does help....sometimes. But the main problem in not drinking at clubs/bars is that the bartenders will probably hate you. Probably. Especially, if you're alone, that's more likely. So I will buy a drink. The most I have from a single bar is 2 beers, maybe three if I'm spacing it out. And I tip generously, because I haven't spent that much (he…

Sadly, my experience has been that most white girls don't have a problem dating non-white guys, but many Indian girls don't like to date outside their race. However, its certainly not a set thing. If you find an Indian girl that you find cute, just go talk to her! Experience will teach you best.

OTOH, I've found that a lot of girls, especially college girls, find dating guys of another race to be intriguing. Have you actually tried talking to these women that you perceive as racist? Obviously, you will not be treated the same because you are not. Use that to your advantage. In particular, with white girls, most have dated mostly white guys, most of who are incredibly beta. Interesting idea! I think (and this is completely my thought, no citations) that the biggest problem humans have faced once we settled down(i.e from hunters to farmers) is boredom. It's only natural that women gravitate more towards the bad boys, who surely have interesting experiences to talk about, and possibly involve them in it too.

The rabbit hole goes much deeper than that. People (both men and women) are influenced a LOT by what they watch on television. And television has promoted all the stereotypes that now exist. The author bitches a lot, but has he tried to approach ugly women? To find out what their personality is? I bet not. We're both at fault here for allowing the media to influence us. Of course, this has been happening for a very long time (before it was the Bible, now its TV)

Since you're American you're already considered very attractive (the Korean name for US is Mee-gook, which means "beautiful country"). Spot on. It's hard to not appear racist when saying this, but the facts simply are that many non-native-english-speaking women in US don't get the kind of attention that natives do (which is actually pretty ridiculous, if you ask me). You can think about your name as being either a positive or negative thing. In this case, you're convinced that it is ruining your game. But you can also think of it as: I have an exotic name. Anyways, if the girls say 'what?' then repeat once and grin and say 'Don't worry, I won't judge you if you don't get it right'. I think its kind of common because all men have the same desire: to keep your toy to yourself; totally under your control. But women are not toys, they are people; and its when this sort of realization hits you do you start getting more relaxed around women and enjoy them not as your toys but as your equals So no, I don't think it has any deep psychological meaning. The more extroverted/popular guys have just never faced this because they have always been comfortable with women.

Yes, this is an excellent example. I realized this after crashing and burning a few times when I approached women. You have to actually listen and then throw in a good question or a fact based on what you just heard. This basically shows that a) you actually listen b) you don't live in a cocoon, but have diverse thoughts/experiences and c) you're smart :)

notice something about what she's wearing; maybe something regarding the situation? Talking to girls is incredibly easy once you stop getting so nervous about it

No, your advice is actually pretty good, don't apologize for it; its hard medicine, but that's the best kind of medicine :) I say this because I had a similar thing happen to me on the bus once (platonic conversation, early ejection), and I've been thinking about it all week. That's definitely not healthy

nothing's easy at first. You do it so many times that it becomes a habit. Then its easy

I've had this feeling a lot of times. The way you get rid of it is: you don't. It will bother you for maybe a few days, then you will see another beautiful woman and this time you won't repeat the same mistake.

Which are the brands that you consider deodorants?

I thought that if I just continued being my quiet, laid-back, nice guy self then eventually a beautiful girl would be so attracted to me that she'd come up to me, flirt with me, and take me home and ravish me. Its surprising how common this belief can be. I wish someone had said this to me when I was in HS.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
