Trying to diminish your ego is itself an act of ego inflation. Listen man, it's not rocket science. Cast a wide net. Have good profiles on Tinder, Bumble, and Hinge. Approach a lot IRL and make a lot of friends in general. It's just a numbers game. Be in the right place at the right time. Also this should go without saying but take care of yourself and go to the gym. Do you realize how many dudes want to have a threesome with two girls? Pretty much all of us. Do you realize how many actually mak…

I think you're just describing normal casual dating without being a dick.
/r/seduction20/02/25 04:09 PM

Single: casual sex doesn't make me happy, these experiences are all empty and meaningless. In a relationship: I wish I could have sex with a variety of women. Pick your poison. On a more positive note, there are also obvious pros to both.
/r/seduction20/02/25 04:02 PM

It's comical that the conclusion you draw from this is to make women feel inferior rather than make changes to become a superior version of yourself.

I didn't say good looking. I said attractive. We both know that encompasses many things.
/r/askTRP19/01/20 06:32 PM

Yeah, I'm sure if you're attractive enough, you can get away with saying weird shit like that. Still cringey as fuck.

Video games give you plenty of dopamine which makes you feel good and makes you less reliant on other means of getting dopamine, such as social interaction and the prospect of sex. Most people could do what you described and still have a sex drive but everybody is different so maybe you should cut back and see if that helps you.

There is no trigger. Thinking you need one is holding you back. Getting laid with not magically change your mindset. The process is a slow one. Be patient and keep doing your best and the rest will fall into place.

What part of that don't you understand? She explicitly said she isn't interested. Next.
/r/askTRP04/12/18 09:25 PM

The fact that she was thinking/talking so much about you definitely suggest that she is interested. Who cares what her friend said. Text her again and ask her out. Then you'll have your answer.
/r/askTRP04/12/18 08:40 PM

I can't really help you there. It depends entirely on the situation. I'm not a fan of canned lines. It's best to just pay attention to what's going on around you and to the person you're talking to. Let them do most of the talking. People love to talk about themselves. Don't know the person Get to know them.

I'm surprised reading some of these comments. As if it's impossible for a real woman to initiate first contact on social media. Don't overthink it. If you don't know her, "Do I know you?" If you do know her, even better.

Well if you feel that way then it's up to you whether you want to open up more or not. Either way is fine. Just keep in mind that if you don't, it may result in the end of your relationship. Which happens. Up to you.

We don't know the details of your "break-up" so how could we possibly tell you if you'll be friends again? You seem to have accepted blame for this fallout (rightly so or otherwise) so the only thing that you can do is admit to your friend that you made a mistake, express interest to make things right again, and see what happens from there.

It sounds like you're going into meditation with a lot of expectations. I struggle with this too but it's the opposite attitude you want to have. You meditate for as long as you're comfortable and there is no goal, at least not if you're doing it correctly. All you're doing is being mindful of the present moment. This is most easily done by focusing on the breath, but you don't have to focus on the breath necessarily. Go to YouTube and watch the video of Alan Watts guided meditation and he will …

Headspace is indeed a good starting point. Keep in mind that to really get the benefits of meditation, you have to do it everyday. At first it felt very strange to me, like I was doing it wrong, and it still does sometimes, but the more you do it the easier it gets.

Sometimes you can do everything right and still not get what you want. You can't control her, you can only control yourself. So don't ask us what you should do, ask yourself what you want to do.

General consensus is that texting should be saved for Logistics in the beginning. In other words, texting her light stuff is not doing you or her any favors. If you want to see her again, be direct and invite her over or something similar.
/r/seduction28/07/18 07:44 PM

So you hooked up and she's not texting you back. What kinds of things have you been texting her? Have you asked her out again?

I see your point but i also think that kissing doesn't release sexual tension, it raises it, if you're good at it. Kissing is fine but it doesn't scratch the sexual itch for me or for women in my experience. But I'm also under the impression that the specific things that we do influence the outcome a lot less than we think so I'm sure your theory is as valid as any.
/r/askTRP20/07/18 05:11 PM

Interesting. As a rule i generally go for a kiss on the first date no matter what, in order to gauge interest. What's the reasoning behind not kissing unless sex is a possibility?

Lol. My buddy's girlfriend is all about stuff like this. It's fun to question her beliefs with genuine curiosity and watch the cogs start spinning in her head when she realizes what she's saying makes no sense.

She dumped your friend for you. She pushed for commitment and you basically ignored her (i don't blame you, but if that's what she wants then she probably didn't like that). Consider the possibility that she found someone else who will give her commitment and she's now dumping you for him. It happens. Nothing you can do about it. Hit her up after a while and see if she's receptive again. If not, move on.

Ask if you want. Don't be butthurt if she says something that hurts your feelings. She wants to bang in private, sounds like a win to me.

Strategy is somewhat artificial. There's nothing wrong with having an idea of what you want and how you want to make it happen, in fact that's great and encouraged, but human relationships are supposed to develop naturally. You only complicate things when you try to play games. If you state interest and the girl drifts away, she obviously wasn't that interested in you. The best way to attract women is to develop yourself, put yourself in situations in which it's possible to meet attractive women…

Beautiful women usually know they're beautiful. No reason to tell them other than you want to. If you feel like it doesn't give you good results, then don't. At what point in conversation are you giving the compliments?
/r/askTRP18/06/18 03:40 PM
2

It's only beta (i hate that term) if you get butthurt if they blow you off. Nothing wrong with genuine compliments
/r/askTRP18/06/18 03:34 PM
1

People, women especially, can typically tell what your intentions are. It's not what you say, but how you say it. If you give comments with the correct intentions (directly stating interest without any expectation of anything in return) then i don't see anything wrong with it.
/r/askTRP18/06/18 03:29 PM
3

I... don't know what this is.
/r/askTRP18/06/18 03:22 PM
30

My rule is to only compliment when I genuinely want to do so, with no expectation of anything in return. Are you okay with giving a compliment to this girl and her ignoring you? If not, then you're trying to trade a compliment for sex and that's what Nice Guys do.
/r/askTRP18/06/18 03:18 PM
5

Sounds a little drastic but you da man, your choice.
/r/askTRP14/06/18 04:56 PM
6

Seems like you're doing fine. If you want to call her, call her. If you don't, don't. But also keep in mind that you've been on 3 dates with this girl and haven't banged. You should decide how much more time you're willing to invest in this girl. Usually 3-5 dates is a common rule of thumb.

Not all successful people are charismatic and not all charismatic people are successful. But charisma is a positive quality. It can be a way of manipulating people or a way of making others trust you and feel good about you, depending on how you use it.

Frottage is something a little different. It's a means of obtaining sexual gratification by touching or rubbing a clothed person. I doubt that's what this woman was doing, but she certainly could have been displaying some interest.

It's basically reducto absurdum, which is to take your opponent's position to the extreme to the extent that it is absurd. "How many girls have you slept with?" "Today? Just 12." "Why don't you buy me a drink?" "Sure, why don't I save us both some time and just hand you my wallet?" "That shirt is gay." "Thanks, my mom picked it out for me." The premise is counter what they say, which is usually ridiculous in its own way, whether they realize it or not, with your own ridiculous reply. It shows th…

Not to comment on the content of the post, because i don't necessarily agree with it, but I'd like to challenge your logic. This post makes a generalization. Generalizations are not true for everyone, but they are (or can be) true for the majority of people. Here on seddit, we don't need to attract everyone, that's impossible. Attracting many is a much more feasible goal and is possible by using generalizations. It doesn't have to be true for everyone, and to say that it isn't true for everyone …

A good thing about society is that people do experiments for us, so we can use that knowledge without having to go through the process ourselves. Just do you. Have fun. Escalate. Make a move. See what happens. Do you really want to trick a girl into sleeping with you? Wouldn't you rather sleep with an enthusiastic girl who has genuine desire for you? That's why this sub promotes self improvement. There are no shortcuts. There are a few things you "should not" do, but the things you "should" do d…

I I think you may be misrepresenting or misunderstanding my position. I'm speaking of moralistic values that have existed for centuries. Even in ancient tribes people were respected for their integrity. Surely there are things to be gained by breaking social rules, but doing so is not without risk. I'm not advocating for breaking them or for abiding by them, I'm simply saying that they exist for a reason and they are not arbitrary, and going against them has consequences so you need to be prepar…
/r/askTRP12/05/18 04:26 PM

Disagree. We're social creatures. A sense of morality makes it so that we all play nice. Usually. That's why you feel guilty for doing things that are "bad." Unless you're a sociopath. There's a time and place for morality just as there's a time and place for immorality. Absolutes (such as "morality is weakness") are almost always bad.
/r/askTRP11/05/18 07:18 PM

That's a weak argument. Like i said, I'm not condoning anything, i don't care what he does. But the guy i replied to said he didn't see what was immoral about it, so i explained it.

It's immoral in that these sisters almost certainly don't want to be dating the same guy. It's essentially lying by omission. However, this is an amoral sub so don't take this is a judgement. OP should do what he wants as long as he's willing to face the consequences. It could be that the sisters are okay with it, but that would be a rare situation so it would be kinda silly to assume that's the case.

google.com Seriously though, porn is bad for you in the same way that anything in excess is bad for you. It's addictive when used improperly and can lead to desensitization. The biggest reason to not watch it is because you don't need it and it does nothing for you other than make it easier for you to get off. It can be used in a healthy manner but if you think you have addiction problems, or you think your sex life is being affected by your porn use you should probably avoid it entirely.

It's probably a bad idea to have sex with your ex in the first place, but I'm sure you'll ignore that advice. That said, you seem to have anger and resentment issues. If you really hated her, you wouldn't want to have sex with her. Sounds like you still have feelings for her and you hate yourself for it but you're projecting that hate onto her. This will not end well and it certainly won't make you feel better.

Idr the name of the technique but basically you review your material and and write down all the stuff you need to study more. If you know it, it doesn't go on the list. From that list, you identify things that you don't know but that you could probably understand pretty easily with a little studying. If a girl is going to cheat, she's going to cheat. There's literally nothing you can do about it. Realize that the only reason you're worried about it is because you're trying to protect your ego. Also realize that this is counter- intuitive and being so insecure is only going to make you less attractive, which only increases the likelihood that you'll actually be cheated on. There is no sure fire method to prevent yourself from coming off as a creep. The best way to minimize the risk is to be attractive. To me, the best approaches for day game are direct openers, unless you have something immediately in mind to strike up a conversation, such as something in the environment. Stating your intent directly makes it easy for a girl to reject you right of the bat if she isn't interested, so there's no misinterpreted signals that can make you come off as creepy.

I second this. That book gets flak from this sub because people hear the world "vulnerability" and immediately think he means go cry in front of women. It's more like accepting your flaws and being comfortable with them. It's the basis of not giving a fuck. To add to that, a confident, dominant posture is one in which your most vulnerable areas are exposed. Standing up straight, with your shoulders back, as Jordan Peterson says, exposes your abdomen and throat to the dangers of the world. Simila…

This guy means well but he doesn't know what he's talking about. You can have withdrawals (of sorts) from weed. Nothing we say can help with your problem though. And you know that. The thing about weed is that long time use interferes with your brain's reward mechanisms, as many drugs do. Normally, natural rewards, such as an apple or an intrinsically enjoyable activity, give you a certain amount of pleasure. But when your brain's reward mechanisms have been modified by frequent weed use, the reward that you get from those Natural Rewards is diminished, and the only thing that truly feels rewarding is smoking weed. This causes a sort of feedback loop. Smoking weed diminish…

There are two kinds. Kegels (flex the muscle you use to stop peeing) and reverse kegels (flex the muscles you use to pee faster). In my experience, regular kegels work when I'm approaching orgasm, but I have to stop and flex for a few seconds. It's like a reset button. If I flex while under stimulation, it can make me finish faster. Reverse kegels basically teach you to keep your pelvic muscles relaxed so you last longer in general. I don't get all the hate on this book. Manson isn't saying be a little crybaby. An alpha does not ever think about being Alpha. He just is. Most people go through that problem of overcompensating because they're trying to hard. Let it be natural. Good luck brother

It can be useful to define alpha and beta traits conceptually, but I would not get into the habit of defining yourself as such in any context. Ideally it should come naturally and not take a conscious effort on your part. If you ever try to force it (alpha or beta), you will come off as insincere and she will pick up on it. Also remember the cardinal rule of relationships: the one who cares less has the power.

OP, I'm not why your getting so much hate. I'll do my best to help you. Alpha traits get you laid. But strict alphas typically don't make great fathers/LTR's because they are polygamous by nature and won't invest too much into one mate. In an LTR, you have to carefully balance alpha and beta traits. This is what makes being in an LTR difficult. Too much of either is no good. What she gave you was a comfort test. But a 10 has the same value in addition to the ability to give value to others. You can never be a 10 if you lack the ability to give value to others. Not sure what you mean by that but I am not trying to talk down to anyone if that's what you're implying. Let me be clear. Everything I said was directed at hanging out with a new girl. Your expectation of romance is somewhat part of the problem. Romance happens naturally between two people who are having fun with one another. It's easier to have fun when you have no investment in any expectation. What can you do with a girl besides have sex? Go see a movie. Go bowling. Go hiking. Listen to music. Millions of other things. Use your imagination man. And practice. You won't get any better on Reddit.

Is having sex the only way that you are capable of having a good time? Don't get me wrong, sex is usually a great time, but there is more to life than getting it in. If it happens, great! If not, oh well. There are other ways to enjoy yourself. Putting too much investment on the expectation of sex is a sure-fire way way to ensure that you will not get it.

I didn't read all of the comments but I think this is some of the best advice you can give someone in his position. Your sand metaphor is spot-on. Going into this with no expectations and just the desire to have a good time is the best thing he could do. And that generally applies to all situations

Nobody here can tell you how honest you need to be. But I will say this Mark also notes in his book that you should never be honest for any reason other than to express yourself honestly. If your goal is to get women, you're doing it wrong. That goal requires compliance from other people, which is beyond your control. Instead, your goal should be to improve yourself, and the women will come when you're ready. Also, whenever you ask yourself "What is wrong with everyone else?" You should really be asking "What is wrong with me?"

Sounds right to me. When she told you to be a gentleman, you should have used A&A. "Oh don't worry, I'll be gentle smirk" What you said makes it pretty clear what you're after, which isn't always a bad thing, but some girls will be put off by your forwardness. Remember that she wants plausible deniability. She can't have that if you are making it blatantly obvious that you're trying to fuck her. Take this with a grain of salt, but i'd say it's okay to be obvious with your actions, not your words…
/r/askTRP24/03/17 09:06 PM

I'd say hang out with her like you planned but make a move and try to fuck her. If she turns you down and brings up this whole abstinence thing again, next her for a couple of weeks like the others said. Remember, listen to her actions not her words. Her words say she doesn't like sex, but her actions (quivering legs, for example) say otherwise.

Sometimes people will tell you what they want to say rather than actually addressing your question. You will never be the best. There's always a bigger fish. But, it's your responsibility to be the best that you can be; the best version of yourself. AWALT refers to women's capacity to pursue different schedules of mating (beta bucks or alpha fucks) depending on their circumstances. That is to say that every woman has the capacity (and surely the ability) to cheat, if she's put in the right situa…

I realize this post was to be a rant but you need realize that those other guys have absolutely no bearing on your ability to improve yourself. You're just making excuses. Your dad didn't properly teach you to be a man. So what? At least you had a dad. Play with the cards you're dealt, quit blaming others, focus on yourself, and quit bitching. You even admit that you haven't been lifting properly, so what do you expect?

/r/askTRP25/02/17 09:10 PM

Ghosting her for one day isn't much punishment, but that's for you to decide. When you do contact her, act like nothing happened. Don't be butthurt. If she asks why you didn't contact her, don't answer her directly. Say you had to go to Africa to help starving children hunt lions.
/r/askTRP24/02/17 04:30 PM
1

Nothing wrong with texting her first. If she texts first, it's a good sign, but most girls won't. Text her and set up a date. This will be your third time hanging out with her, so you should at least attempt to f close if you want to keep her interested. If she rejects you, that's okay, at least you showed that you her that you have enough balls to go after what you want.
/r/seduction24/02/17 03:39 PM

If it's really going nowhere, then obviously your should quit wasting your time. That includes not listening to her bullshit anymore either. That said, you should be assertive when you pursue women, and just because they give your a little resistance doesn't mean she's not interested. It's up to you to know the difference.

Can't believe you stayed on the phone for 5-10 minutes while she chatted with her cousin. The problem that I see isn't that she hung out with her obviously beta coworker, but that she chose to do so over hanging out with you, if I understand correctly. So far you've played it correctly. You withdrew your time and she's picked up on it and started to chase you a little. You've made it clear you don't approve of her "relationship" with this guy, yet she continues to hang out with him. It's up to y…

Thanks for your comment. I think the method I described is a little different than what you linked, and I think yours makes more sense. You're absolutely right but I'd add that attractiveness isn't purely physical (especially to women) so having other attraction points, like a funny/interesting bio, can help you in that regard. However, some would argue that these things make you look try-hard and you should just keep it simple and stick with attractive pictures. My beliefs lie somewhere in the middle. To each his own, I guess.

Have you ever played an instrument? I just started playing guitar months ago, and it was absolutely not enjoyable at first. By your logic, men who are successful with women shouldn't need seduction either. Yet, here you are. It's true that many men who come to TRP do so because they are hurt by women. But that in no way detracts from the legitimacy of it. That's like saying Narcotics Anonymous is not helpful because it's filled with drug addicts.

Nearly everyone is trying to manipulate you in some way. They want to sell your something, to convince you of something, to bring you to their way of thinking. Learning to maintain frame and defend against these attempts is a valuable skill. Most people don't have trouble with this, but being manipulated is common among some of the broken men that find TRP. That said, TRP does not condone or condemn manipulation. It's just a tool, like any other, that can be used for good, for evil, or not at al…

The Red Pill is amoral. Sometimes manipulation is an effective way to get what you want. Even if you don't go that route, you can learn to identity and defend against those who try to manipulate you (as women often will, intentionally or otherwise).

I'd be lying if I said that kind of stuff did not exist in The Red Pill, but that's the (vocal) minority. You're doing yourself a great disservice by not giving it a chance. I agree with your sentiment but SMV is more than money or status. It's your "sexual marketplace value," which encompasses everything about you. Your appearance (physique) your game, your ability to handle shit tests, your confidence, are all part of your SMV. With that in mind, your SMV is everything. Rather, how a girl perceives your SMV is everything - which allows low SMV guys to land high SMV girls, if they play their cards right.

This response can either mean she has a boyfriend, or she's not that interested. However, it's not the end of the world. If you maintain your frame, you can spark her interest. I do understand, I just disagree somewhat. I'm 22 so maybe my experiences are why I disagree. I meant initiate sexually. If she turns you down, that's her prerogative. If she says yes, you get laid. If she says no, you know that she has a degree of restraint. It's a win-win. As the OP was saying, not initiating sexually will bore a girl. Better to offend or upset a girl than to bore her.

Take care of yourself. Groom yourself. You don't have to be Brad Pitt to be clean and dressed nicely. Lift. You can't do much about your face but you have 100% control over your body. Eat properly. Your diet influences your mood. You put junk in, you get junk out. Good luck.

It's not that arguing necessarily makes girls want to fuck you, it's that supplicating and being a "yes man" makes her not want to fuck you. Arguing is a waste of time, and time is a man's most valuable resource. The best way to win an argument is to avoid it in the first place by establishing clear boundaries and disengaging when she starts to argue. In other words, you argue with your actions, not your words. When she's a good girl, she is rewarded with your presence. When she's bad, she is pu…

You may be right in some cases, but you must at least try to initiate to show that you have intent and that you're not a pussy. Otherwise you're headed for friend-zone territory, as OP has stated. The whole point of this post was to illustrate that not initiating because you want more than just sex is only going to peg you as "just a friend." In which case you get no sex and no relationship.

I'll work on finding a replacement, but in the mean time, should I continue with this one same as usual? I feel as though I may have hurt her feels, so some comfort may help but I don't want to make things worse by beating a dead horse. I would not tell her this, but this one is pretty much my bottom bitch, so I'd like to do what I can to keep her around.

In order to truly love yourself, you must be someone worth loving. That's not to say that everyone does not have inherent value. It's just much easier to love yourself when you commit to self improvement and create a "you" that is worth loving.

Different people have different strategies, but I only use texting for logistics. You're a busy guy with better things to do than text all day like a high schooler. I say next time you text, tell her to meet you somewhere. Just say "hey I'll be at x tomorrow night, come over for a bit" or something along those lines.

Don't listen to these other comments. Sounds like you did a good job. You maintained your frame even though she passively rejected you by not responding. That's a good thing, it demonstrates high value. This girl may or may not be into you, but you definitely handled it correctly.

The best way to learn is through experience, brotha. It's okay to fail, but it's not okay to not try. Just trust your gut. You're a man. An animal born to fight and to fuck. Your instincts know what to do. If you want to sexualize the encounter, then just think about bending her over the table and fucking her, while you're talking to her. Body language is more important than spoken language, and how you say something is more important than what you say. When you walk into that meeting, walk in t…

Having any strict formula like that at all is the opposite of natural. Before you can learn to talk to women, you have to learn to talk to people, in general. Read "How to Win Friends and Influence People." A good conversationalist does more listening than talking. Ask questions and make statements in order to illicit a response from her, and then actually listen to what she says. Listen to understand, not to respond, the responding should be natural (automatic, not requiring much thought or eff…

I'm not sure where you got this formula for how to act, but throw that out the window. You're not a robot that needs a program to tell you how to act. Just be natural. If this is a business meeting, don't shit where you eat. That said, eye contact is good. Smiling is good, but don't overdo it. Better to not smile at all than smile too much, it's a sign of submission.

The best advice I can give you is try everything else first. Suicide is a permanent reaction to temporary problems. It's always an option and you can always come back to it, so it doesn't make any sense to jump to that extreme of a decision without exhausting your other options first.

First and foremost, listening to your dick (if we're still on the same page, your dick wants you to dump her) is the opposite of dealing with that drama. Getting this chick out of your life is probably the path with the least drama by far. Do you live with her? If not, it's as simple as ghost and move on. Second, all those things you told her -while undoubtedly true - didn't do you one iota of good. She knows all those things, she knows she's being shitty. She doesn't need you to tell her that. …

Listen to your dick. Seriously though, you already screwed up by giving in so easily to what can only be described as her demands. She is desperately trying to drag you into her frame. That's why she wants you to be upset when she's upset and wants you to be on call like a good boy. You're an adult, not a child. Sometimes adults get busy and don't have time to chit chat. The most important thing a person can do in this life is learn to be alone. Be self-sufficient. But you can take comfort in the fact that we are all alone, together.

I think it absolutely does. The aim of the book is in the title. And the title is not "how to fuck bitches." What I mean is, the book teaches you things that will benefit you in your red pill journey, but it's not the red pill handbook by any means. Add the skills from the book into your repertoire, but know when and when not to use them.
/r/askTRP13/09/16 08:55 PM

I disagree. If you are gonna break up with her, don't explain yourself. Just tell her it's not working out, like you should with any other girl. What do you stand to gain by telling her the real reason? Let her hamster run wild, it will only increase her attraction for you.

The pragmatic theory of truth states: "if it works, it must be true." If withdrawing yourself is the only way that you can see results, then do it. Careful not to isolate yourself too much. Everyone is different, do whatever works for you.
/r/askTRP01/09/16 03:05 PM

Question about that: is it better to ask her to leave immediately after she denies you, or should you wait a bit? I think asking her immediately would really get the point across, but it may come off as being butthurt.

It's your job to escalate. Slowly and steadily, because you can't just put your hand down her pants and expect her to be ready (not usually, at least). You gotta warm her up. Keep kissing her, start to get a bit handsy, go from kissing her lips to kissing her neck. Be creative with it, be immersed in the moment and your instincts will kick in and do the work for you. Don't over think it, and be dominant.
/r/seduction30/08/16 06:55 PM

I'd say don't "ask" if she wants a massage. Instead, just start giving her one. Rub her shoulders then kiss her neck. If she's into you, the rest should be easy. Just do what feels natural. Take it slow, but steady.

I agree with you on some level, but hitting the guy is a gamble. Hypergamy in action. Keep on keeping on, you are being honest and she's choosing to continue having sex with you. That's on her. Being willing to let her go is part of putting in the work. If the only reason you are thinking of leaving her is because she doesn't love/respect you like you want, then you need to work on your basics first. Think about the hierarchy of needs. Being self-sufficient (willing to let her go) is at the top of the pyramid. You need to start at the bottom and work your way up to that. Are you lifting? How's your diet? What are your hobbies? How's your frame? These things are where you need to start,…

You're exactly right about not really knowing her well. That's the main reason I was apprehensive about upgrading her to LTR, but I also think I could benefit from more experience being single. I think what I will do is tell her what I would expect from her as a girlfriend, and tell her that I'd be willing to make that change after I got to know her a little better. And from that point, whether it works out or not, I can't really lose.

A little affirmation text, such as "Had a good time the other night. We will do it again some time" never hurt, just don't fall into the habit of texting her just to talk. Law of Power #4: Always say less than necessary. She probably has trouble figuring you it because you don't say much. This is a good thing, it gives you the power and forces her to try to read you and makes her do the talking. But, you can take it too far. As far as getting a flat belly goes, try this: Lie on your back in a sit-up position. Kick out one leg at a time like you're riding a bicycle, touching your elbow to your opposite knee. He probably did make a move, and she likely denied him (giving credit to her story that he was being difficult, why would she want to fuck a beta orbiter?) but that's just speculation. I think you're looking too much into this situation. You seem to be doing alright, just ride it out and continue doing what you're doing. Her actions will make her intentions clear eventually.
/r/askTRP18/07/16 07:28 PM

Like what? Tell him that you fooled around with her so he can turn around and tell her that you're bragging about it? Women like discretion and that could backfire on you. Don't mate guard, especially on a chick who isn't really yours. As for her "playing" you, is the guy she took home the same guy that we have been talking about?
/r/askTRP18/07/16 06:39 PM

Keep doing what you're doing. You've already said that this guy is a beta orbiter and you're not threatened by him, so why do you feel like you need to do anything special? She probably has a handful of guys you don't know doing the same thing at any given moment. As for the coworker, that's up to you. Do you feel like it was clear that this girl was with you and he was purposefully stepping on your toes by showing interest in her?

My dad got his current wife to go out with him for the first time by using the line: "I know you're not as good looking of a woman as I am a man, but you seem cool, so I can lower my standards this time."

True, but it sounds like OP could have done so, and just chose not to.

Read "How to Win Friends and Influence People," by Dale Carnegie. People are infinitely more interested in themselves than they are in you. Show genuine interest and let the other person do the talking. Add input, of course, but the key is to let them talk about what interests them. It never fails.

It's less about what you say, and more about how you say it. This holds true for pretty much any aspect of communication.

Right, I probably could have worded that better. The reason I used that phrasing it was because I just read a post on this subreddit earlier today about how much better luck this guy had after deciding to "treat women like shit," and all the comments to his post seemed to support that claim. But I suppose treating someone like "shit" is a subjective term. Regardless, that is basically what inspired this post.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
