Went to the club with friends and got a lot of interest from girls and danced with some.

However, when I try to talk to them (I open with: what’s your name) they seem to lose interest.

I get IOIs but Im not sure what Im doing wrong.

Side question: People say as soon as a girl makes eye contact/IOI with you you should go for it otherwise its too late. Wouldn’t that be perceived as needy? I like to ‘evaluate’ the girl before approaching.
