Don't ask girls that. Every guy asks that and you're always going to get the same stupid answers "Friends." or "I dunno yet, I'm just bored." or what she said to you etc etc- which actually is very vague yet keeps the opportunity for sex still a possibility. What she said is actually a perfect one to use when a girl asks you that although I would change it to "meet people and see from there" instead of using the word stranger.

Girls are gonna hamster. Your job is to make that bitch spin. This is the game of seduction in a way, she is being coy and hiding her true intentions duh. She is playing the madonna. Your job is to be upfront af.

Honestly dating apps are a waste of time and many others have posted before as to why. Long story short on those apps you are being viewed through the lens of those apps. And girls get legit hundreds of messages a day on those so you appear insignificant. Better off cold approaching.
