Hey team

I have a silly question - I have never done any weights before, and now I want to harden my arse up and start lifting. I'm 35 though. However, I'm not too sure what to start with. I have a gym at work and that's the only one I can afford (its free), but it doesn't have any staff or trainers etc.

I'm looking for maybe three simple exercises that I can do in half an hr. At least I need to start from somewhere. I'm just worried my form would be wrong and I will go backward. Since I was very young, I was advised lifting is not good for you, as if you get it wrong, you will have injuries etc, and just like anything else, I'm still paranoid. Also, I'm scared that while benchpressing, I can have the bar with weights drop on my chest/neck and I will die (I'm paranoid).

Anyway, TRP has motivated me to start from somewhere, and I don't want to read a whole book like starting strength. I need the bottom line, and yes I sound whiny, but I need to start and I know I can work with something simple.

Thanks for your help guys.
