Don't give compliments, unless you're reinforcing a certain behavior.

Instead of "you're hot", you can say "you look like you might be an interesting person to get to know." Invite her to qualify herself in order to earn your compliment. Not based on beauty.

Assume you are her intention and speak on her behalf about yourself.

E.g. "obviously you want to jump me but you should know I'm not that type of guy". "I'm just here to have a fun quiet night and don't need to be getting hit on the whole time, control yourself". Obviously these don't work if you are attractive enough to have people potentially say this about you.

The reason it works is it gives you plausible deniability and communicates what you are thinking at the same time. Also, be outcome independent. She needs to know you have no problem walking off whenever you like (i.e. abundance mentality).
