Been talking to this girl who seemed pretty high interest as she was initiating contact all the time.

I keep our texting light and fun and only reply when I feel like it/have time. I don't really like telling her everything that I've been doing so I mostly keep it a bit vague and direct the convo back to her. But last night she told me she's tired of me acting so mysterious and that she doesn't know why she's doing that to herself and that I should just tell her if I dont want to talk to her. I told her that I do enjoy talking to her and that I am talking to her and told her not to worry. She left me on seen.

Did I act too aloof and did being mysterious backfire on me? What's the best way to proceed here?
