this can be related to an SMV gap where insecurity drives the need for comfort or plain personality differences (whether caused by nature and/or nurture).

you’ll continue to develop your ability to discern who’s who. i’m still perfecting this myself.

you want to slowly introduce beta game/balance, emotional nourishment for the girl as a reward/positive reinforcement for good behavior to promote good behavior, and teach her what she needs to do to get the reward.

continue to condition and groom your plates. however much you feel you need to give, give a little less. experiment, and remain outcome independent.

the thing about “watering” your hoes is that emotional attachment often grows the more you water. so you want to hedge that as much as possible. try to prevent getting emotionally invested. this is actual betafication vs pseudo betafication as a gaming tactic.

this is hard.

how do you do this? always remind yourself of their danger and their nature. never get caught slipping. stay on your game. you’re a high level gamer and strategist. she’s just experiencing your mastery - experiencing you - for now.

you want your girls to always be running on an emotional deficit. you also want to get comfortable running on an emotional deficit as well. that way you’re not needy when she is acting up or not giving you what you feel you need. and, of course, have multiple wells from which you draw.

ideally, they should be giving at least slightly more than they receive, validation-wise. it’s like trying to get lean - you run a slight deficit over a prolonged period to get leaner then hitch maintenance slightly above that with the occasional refeed, maybe a cheat day, however you wanna do it.

you wanna love lean (but be sure satiate her), too, and get used to being your own source of validation/nourishment so you’re not compromised when girls are girls and start acting up.

you don’t need any one girl. and you’d be fine without them if it came to that.
