3 months ago I started at college, and I was looking forward to making new friends, however, I portrayed myself as being needy and desperate for social interactions. I also tried to act a little douchy once in a while, which I failed at miserably. I'm more or less an outcast now, don't have anyone to go out with and probably gonna spend new year's eve alone...yes, it's completely depressing. I still try to think positively and meditate as I don't want my situation to influence my well-being completely. In class I more or less try to keep myself out of social interactions in fear of making the situation even worse. I've read some books about social skills, and I've learned some useful things, however, if I've made a bad first impression, will I forever be a needy loser in their eyes, or can I undo their impression of me now?
