me and another girl (I think she's veeerrrry pretty) are RAs at college. At the moment we are spending quite a lot of time together due to training. since I first met her (before summer break) and ever since, she gives what I think are constant IOIs.

She is always looking at me in a group setting. sometimes I catch her, sometimes I can see in the corner of my eye. sometimes she holds my eye for a couple of seconds, or quickly looks down.

a couple of nights ago we were alone, and I told her to come on a walk with me around our part of campus (it's very rural). obviously i was planning on escalating and taking her back to my room.

she said "i don't think i want to stay out late" and become very reserved the rest of the interaction. pretty much a soft rejection.

how the hell do i read this behavior. the only thing i can think of is that she's attracted to me but thinks im just looking for sex (maybe from my reputation? - she's a relationship oriented jewish girl).

what are your thoughts, and what should i do next. i've pretty much just withdrawn all attention and told myself to act like she doesn't exist
