Hey guys. I've read a couple posts on TRP about setting up dates, and all agree: wishy-washy propositions MUST be avoided. They advise proposing a when and a where, immediately.

However, if I text "Lucky Luke's, 9 o'clock..." there's the possibility that she's genuinely busy that night, as opposed to flaky.

I tend to precede the "proposition text" with a "what's your week looking like?" or "What's your schedule like this week?" After I get this information, I say, "Great, we'll do X on Y night, see you then," or something similar. This ensures that a no is out of flakiness, and not life getting in the way.

Thoughts? Am I compromising frame?
