I often fall into the “100% alpha” no comfort, no beta, emotionless robot, retard trap all of us new trp’ers fall into at some point. Like we think that’s what we have to do according to trp ideology but it’s not, but it is a misconception we go through at some point in the early stages of our journey.

Matter a fact, it’s this trap that’s stopped new plates with a long turn-time from forming because there’s too much “alpha/asshole”. It causes them to think

”What an asshole. I should probably keep my distance. Fun for the night, but he’s just gonna treat me like shit”

My question is, what level and how exactly should I give just enough comfort and emotion to not be “too much of an asshole” to where it makes them think it’s genuinely better to stay away, while also showing just enough emotion, enough of a human side for them to stick around while also not being “beta”/doormat to the point of them seeing you as just a friend?

PS. And yes, I know, they’re just plates they’re designed to break. But I’ve gone so far down the asshole route that it’s gone past the mysterious and alpha vibe. I come off as just a straight asshole with no emotions other than a sex drive. Ye it works for a couple lays but it doesn’t generate a plate that sticks around enough. Let alone allow a potential ltr to form (if she even gets to that point).
