I like the quote "small minds discuss people, average minds discuss events, and great minds discuss ideas". I think gossip and complaining is a woman's activity and makes you look feminine.

That being said, what are your thoughts on talking poorly about others? If someone disrespects you or can't hold their own in a group project, do you advertise this or discuss this with other people if they ask? Do you undermine their reputation if they are undermining yours? Is there ever a right time to complain about something or is it always best to just power through?

I've had situations where people have complained to me. Do I join in with them or do I offer suggestions, or do I just ignore? My issue is that if a group is complaining about something and you contradict them or even don't join in, they alienate you or feel that you are above them and they resent you for being strong enough to STFU. In accordance with 48LOP, "Think as you like but act like others", do I just join in?
