Hey so I'm gonna start off by saying this thing started in high school. This was 7 8 years ago. Saw chick in junior year, was absolutely infatuated. Being 16, shy. never did anything. 2 years later I went to another town at university. Ended up asking her out when I came back on break. She says yes. At this point I was 18, way too full of myself, didn't make it to second date. Years pass, I moved back to my home town. We hung out maybe once every two years.

Present day: I'm 23. She came up to me with a job opportunity. That things going well but we started getting closer with the natural attraction between us. Only met her once a week. Hour long drive to another city. So we talked a lot. About a lot of stuff, how and why we never tried each other. When this started, she was in a relationship and I had told her that when she's single, I'd ask her out. She said she'd like that.

False. I asked her out about 2 3 weeks later, she just wants to be friends. Maybe 2 years ago I'd have accepted the deal, being a beta orbiter and all, but fuck. I'm good looking, intelligent, ambitious with a great family. I don't give a fuck when someone rejects my genuine feelings anymore. So I said no to the friends thing, deleted her off facebook.
