It doesn't matter what everyone else is doing; you need to figure out why your Day Game sucks, and the typical reason for that is not enough overall approaches. Another one is your SMV is too low relative to the girls you are approaching, at least as they perceive it.

Prescription #1: Back to the House of Iron.

Prescription #2: More approaches. You didn't say how many you were making but I'm pretty confident I can say "double it" and be right.

Don't tell me that my day game is the problem. It isn't the problem. I'm in a college town and can't do shot with day game; definitely the town. Not me.

If Vasiliy said he nailed 2+ girls a month using day game would you be more inclined to listen to him, regardless of the simple answer? The answer to your question is simple and he gave you the solution to your problem. I've found myself having success using advice I've read from him.

College towns can be really weird.

You're probably dealing with people who are members of insulated cliques and will only talk to people they know from certain social circles they're already familiar with.

On campus that could be greek life, various organizations, various departments. Off campus it could be the various little weird clusters of people with various bullshit hipster activities, churches, music scenes, whatever.

You're probably going to need to make friends, somehow, and then use social circle game to get you in the door.

Not all college towns are the same, and not all colleges are the same. Girls at 3rd-tier state schools are more fun than girls at first-tier state schools, since they don't have to study all the damned time, and usually aren't making it into medical school/etc regardless of what they do. Girls at high-end private schools are usually going to be even snobbier and even worse.

The larger the university population relative to the local community, the weirder the town is going to be. Also, if there are no nearby towns of any size, the town will be weirder because there won't be as many locals who have non-university jobs and commute FROM the college town to a larger city for work.
