recently I've been wondering, where do I draw the line between consumerism and raising SMV?

I don't *need that new jacket/sunglasses/protein powder/pants/car but when I buy it, I get more attention from women and I can pull hotter girls. I feel like I've entered a positive feedback loop of spending money, raising my SMV, and pulling hotter women but I fear I've become too materialistic and am spending way too much money on shit I don't even fucking need. What's worse is when I get compliments on shit I've bought, I want to buy more of it to keep raking in that attention.

I feel like I'm deriving value from the external possessions instead of generating it from within.

Thoughts?
