Many guys eventually want monogamy and figure that a promiscuous woman (i.e. a "slut") is more likely to cheat on him than a non-promiscuous one.

This generally leads to one of two mentalities depending on how important sex is to the man: either "She needs to be sexually pure before she meets me but have sex with me quickly", or "If a woman has sex with me quickly, she's probably had sex with other men just as quickly."

Not all guys are like this, but enough are to make it a problem.

A woman looking for male interaction should probably A) figure out which outcome he's looking for and play to that archetype, and B) downplay any previous sexual experiences she might have.

The alternative is somebody like me who really doesn't care about your sexual history except as bedroom fodder, but those are fairly rare.

All women ought to be given respect on a case by case basis. I give the woman about as much respect as she gives herself.

That said, there is a misconception that all "sluts" are created equal -- in my opinion.

If a woman is sleeping around in search of personal/emotional fulfillment -- she is doing wrong by not respecting her body and (very possibly) toying with others' emotions. How much respect does she deserve?

If a woman is sleeping around because she likes orgasms -- shes is doing exactly what I would. Can't be angry with that. As long as her life is together in other areas while staying clean then I'm all for that. This type of woman deserves respect.

I'll bite.
So the general breakdown of what makes a girl attractive is: 80% looks (for sex)
10% personality (for relationships)
10% wildcard (some guys like redheads or whatever)

When that 80% is affected her attractiveness takes a much larger hit than say, if she was unintelligent (10%). To answer your question:

80%.
