My masturbation has been as bad as one a day (sometimes twice) to months of not (up to 70ish days) where I try and regain control. This over 3.5ish years. So as long as you'd expect to really change some brain chemistry.

I went through both extremes in horniness and chastity while coming off it. It was was a huge area of insecurity and I had a few nights I couldn't make anything happen (probably 2 months "sober" at that point with some girl.from tinder). I got Viagra from my family doc because he's a bro. He suggested however what I always suspected, it is very mental. I used it for a drunk hookup and it helped physically a bit, but more so as a mental.crutch. I could tell.myself "it's GOING to happen because pills".

A month or two later (so like, 3-4 months of no masturbation) I took the Viagra and had some dirty drunk sex at like half chub.

Now I hook up with two diff girls and I fuck both of them once or twice a week (no pill). It is definitely mental at this point, any of the issues I have.

You can make it, stop masturbating, lift, and never let the thoughts of how you may be affected prevent you from trying to have sex. That mental block is the worst obstacle.

It will take a lot longer for your brain to readjust than a week. Keep cutting back and report back in 6 months.

You need to set a goal, 90 days is a good start. I got started with the nofap community recently myself I'm not looking at porn ever again though.

Oh yeah and jacking off without porn is almost as bad as jacking off with porn so I'd recommend you stop that as well.
