You cut them out like cancer. You dont party with cancer, you dont invite cancer over for dinner, you cut that shit out like its going to kill you and dont care if they bitch or moan about missing you.

If they do message you about that shit, give them a non validation message.

My recent example: Her:"I heard about your root canal. I am sorry about that. Let me know if I can help. I love you and hope to see you soon." Me:"Yea I might have to have another root canal later this week."

I cut someone out blocked their number, they came and knocked on my door four month later. I explained how certain negative traits were having a drastic negative effect on my morale and said I would get back to them if I changed my mind. It's been one year now.

I started dating this girl (pre TRP) and I just realized that she was so sheltered, refusing to swear, refusing to see any movies with violence... and she was annoying. So I just stopped calling & texting, and she asked me on many occassions why we didn't still hang out, she said that I kicked her to the curb, all that stuff. I just comforted and deflected (because she was in my social circle) and 100% chance she didn't want the "You're boring, you're annoying, you're a prude, etc). What I've learned is that people don't really want the truth... what they really want is to be comforted or acknowledged.... they rarely want the truth. So don't bother with people who aren't going to fully appreciate the entire truth.

I honestly think this is a case by case issue. If they are strongly connected a lot of other people in your social group then no contact is going to cause waves for you. Then again so is being blunt as hell. For this kind of thing I think it is up to you on how you get rid of them.

Just don't burn bridges or screw up other options for yourself because you may need to use those people later on in life.
