Does the author of this article even know what he is talking about??? I legitimately took him seriously for the first five minutes and then my mind just flipped out. I've known girls with daddy issues, even dated, and THERE IS NO WAY IN HELL ANY OF THE ADVICE HE GIVES AT THE BOTTOM OF HIS PARAGRAPHS WORK.

I understand that knowing a couple of girls with this problem does not make me an expert on this issue but is this guy for real? 'Your attention will help her get over her need for attention from other men'? Jesus Christ there is no way a single man can humanly manage enough attention to 'help' an elektra get over her attention deficit, nor should he ever try.

Flabbergast and gut reaction aside, I know for a fact that a number of TRPers have experience with girls with daddy issues. The ones of you who have dated/plated girls with daddy issues, how did you manage them as plates?

The elektra I dated was horrifically emotional and broke into tears at everything, constantly tried to bang my friends, stirred drama everywhere, kept flirting with everything that looked remotely human at every living interval and she couldn't stop lying.

How does a man even handle being together with such an inherently horrible person? That's not a rhetorical, that's my question. What circumstances allowed you to just not care about what she did?
