My divorce is slowly chugging along. It’s absolutely a sure thing and I am not going to change course. In the meantime I started dating again to work on TRP skills and meet fun people.

I don’t disclose my home situation because most connections peter out quickly by themselves or the topic of relationship histories just doesn’t come up (FWB/ONS situations, but if the topic did come up I would be forthright). In this case I met a cool girl who, while not asking questions, is possibly hinting she wants to go over my house instead of her apartment. Unfortunately that’s where my soon ex lives while she gets her shit together (no kids BTW) while I’m staying at my parent’s place.

I knew this would come up eventually while dating around, but was hoping for kater rather than sooner. Now I’m trying to decide whether to have a conversation about my situation or try to sterler plans towards her place or some other alternative. As for the convo itself I plan to be brief, to the point, not overly emotional, and have her ask any questions she wants after I give her the context.

Would appreciate advice for this situation and in general because this is slow business that will take at least a few months.
