A girl I recently stopped dating has just got an abortion (mine, yes it's real, don't ask). I've been having a hard time coming to terms with this myself and I can only imagine how she's feeling. Actually, I know how she's feeling. Bipolar.

For the past week and a half, she's been going from "I miss you baby" to "How the fuck do you think I'm feeling?" and back from day to day. When things are good, she's absolutely wonderful, sings my praises and the whole shebang. However, when she gets to her sour mood, she couldn't give a fuck about me and bitches me out about the stupidest things (those quotes above? They're real).

My problem is that because of this pregnancy, there's an unseverable connection between us and I know I can't leave. Neither do I want to leave. I just want to know how I can deal with her going back and forth between love and hate.

Should I ignore her for a few days to show her what it'd be like if I left? Should I praise her for being strong and showing emotion without fear? Should I apologize for being caring and genuine (not verbatim but something she'll believe)? I'm at a loss for words.

TLDR: Girl loves me one moment and hates me the next after an abortion of my child. What do I do?
