Yeah, i'm obviously talking about before the pandemic... I myself haven't even cold approached since 2019 (fine not true I just haven't done it often this or last year). But back then I had been lifting weights for years but kept telling myself that I wasn't sexually attractive no women could ever be interested in me since I wasn't tall, was a minority and didn't think too highly of myself. But then besides some guys complimenting on the improvement of my physique I began thinking "hey, whenever I try to dress well all these pretty cute girls are looking at me weirdly... but in the past no one would look at me at all" and one day I noticed a girl look at me and gave me a very warming smile after I accidentally looked at her... at first I thought "wtf was that she is so out of my league" and it clicked to me all those girls looking at me weirdly gave me the same eyes as the girl who smiled at me.

And so, I got out of my head & my anxiety, began smiling at strangers & approaching the college girls smiling back at me, getting into day game - which I thought was impossible at the time. If they gave me good eyes I knew I would get a smile really quickly into talking to them, and then a number and in the night time if she's super interested & enthusiastic about meeting up, after drinks we could just walk back to my dorm room and hook up.

After you began achieving some success with pretty cute girls the confidence boost is gigantic. You start to believe in the process and all your lifting and putting in work in the gym actually mattering, you began caring about your diet more consistently and drop other toxic habits like smoking, wasting time watching porn etc (you can have real hook ups making out with strangers & feeling their asses so you must be able to escalate to blow jobs & sex with a little more work).

You eventually achieve abundance mentality and notice this thing even the most attractive guys in relationships with gfs seem to lack, drive. They became complacent and settle for one girl who might misbehave or w.e when you're having fun talking to 10 different girls a week and hooking up with a couple ones and possibly new ones all on their best behavior, super excited when with you.

Every guy has their oblivious moments but the huge thing to actually watch out for is not body movements but people's vibe they give off. I know guys who can't tell when a girl is dtf, in the mood to be escalated on or to laugh at your lame jokes & be bedded. They make the girls not into anything at all uncomfortable, creeped out... and pass up on the ones who would've definitely had sex with them if only they put any effort into making a move. Stop talking about nerdy **** and kiss her, move onto to bed she doesn't care & you don't need to do any convincing or waiting for shit test. I think one of the issues here is inexperienced guys assume no cute women could want sex that much or that badly that it would just be free.

If your frame is on point, your life is on point, youre confident, masculine, you dress well, smell well, you wouldnt need to cold approach. You'd be getting enough signals from beautiful women to where all you have to do is select which one you want.

But for someone who doesnt get chosen on id understand why cold approaching would be a better option.

As for me im not afraid of rejection i just dont like the exchange that would take place in that scenario. You approach a woman, she turns you down, you get nothing, she gets validation, and then you rinse and repeat until you get a woman to "take the bait".

So on average you might approach 10 women and only get 3 numbers. So you gave free validation to 10 women in exchange for 3 numbers.

And now the woman that you had success with believes she is the prize because she "gave you a chance". The dynamic is different as you had to sell yourself whereas if you let her choose she has to prove herself worthy of you. And it is easier to lead her.
