That is the weirdest thing I've heard to be insecure about. No one cares about your name, seriously. And no women is attracted to a man because of his name.

If you can't get over it just give yourself a nickname and tell people that's your name. And if you don't want to do that, get an official name change.

Loool that doesn't make any sense. If it's hard to remember just pick a nick, and if you feel like it tell your real name later when it's worth wasting time.

I have a friend who LTR a girl and took 2 month to tell her his real name, not because it was weird, but because he fucked around like a rabbit in the city so he changed name for every girl he met, as a way to protect himself. Doesn't make much sense either actually

While you can't change some things about you, insecurities stem from within. They are your mindset. They are you giving too much of a fuck.

Insecurities are your brain making up explanations and reasons as to why have you failed, even before you have tried.

And you can change that. You can stop giving a fuck.

OMG. Dude. I used to be the same way.

No, I don't do nicknames. If the person I am interacting with doesn't care enough to learn my nameand aren't in a more powerful position that I am(aka useful to me), they arebt worth keeping around.
If a chick doesn't get your name, she isn't worth keeping around.
I only use nicknames when I am going out. Why? Coz I want to infuse positivity and fun into the ball of attraction when I open. I don't want to spend 2 minutes going over my name. My nickname closely alligns with my name so she doesn't feel a whole lot of difference when we exchange numbers or I pull and have to tell her my real name.
Most people here won't get this but this can be a realthing hahahaha. Looking back, it's the stupidest thing I have ever worried about(other than being short). You got this!

Read Power of Now by Tolle and learn to meditate. This will help you wake up to the reality that you are not your ego (false self). Ego is attached to your identities, which are all superficial. Who ARE you? Are you your physical body, your job, your dreams, your name? Who is the real you? When you earnestly seek the truth of who you are, you'll begin to "wake up".
