I took the red pill recently after ending a two year relationship. In fact I've been in long term relationships for most of my life. The red pill has been great, the theory helped explain all of the observations I've made about men / women over the years. The pieces fit perfectly. I started spinning plates (which honestly was what I always did when I was in between relationships) but this time I don't want to jump back into another long term relationship. I want to focus on self improvement for a while and not invest time in a girl until I'm where I want to be.

There's something I really miss about having a girlfriend though. I miss having someone waiting at home for me to ask about my day. I miss having dinner or a beer waiting for me after work. I miss having someone who understands the major points of my life so they understand the context when I tell a story.

And I don't really get that with my plates or with my male friends. How do you guys deal with that?
