So I was out in the club tonight and it was pretty trashy, ratio was bad, chicks were mostly below average and sober and no fun. So I was like fuck it. I'm just gonna enjoy the music, atmosphere, dance for a bit and call it a night.

Well over the course of the night I saw this guy with this chick, who was drunk as fuck and can barley stand (most likely the guy has been getting her drunk and she didn't know when to stop) and this guy, for like half an hour, has his hands all over her and have been trying to make out with this poor drunk chick (who was also clearly way above his league) but the chick who can barely stand somehow is holding her own and curving the guy left and right. So at first I was kind of watching them cause I found it funny, but the guy was persistent as fuck, like rapey persistent, so I got closer to try and hear what they're saying and the girl's all "I got a boyfriend" and the dude is like "Idgaf, I love you plz kiss me" so right then I knew the dude is needy af and the girl is desperate to get away, she probably doesn't even have a boyfriend but she's doing everything she can to get the guy to quit, but the guy just doesn't get the message. So finally I had enough of this and I decided to step in and tell the guy "bro she got a girlfriend man" he got mad af and tried to square up. So I immediately hugged the guy as a sort of de-escalation and distance management in case he was going to throw hands, and I kept telling him "dude calm down, this girl wants nothing to do with you and she's drunk af, it's not worth it, find another girl, there are plenty" but the guy wouldn't calm himself he kept saying "fuck off, you don't know her" (so it seems they're "friends"), he was all ready to fight, the girl had to split us apart and tell the dude to chill out, and she pulled me over and kept thanking me, so I told her to drink some water and take care of herself. That's where I left them. I walked away and last I saw, the girl haven't left the guy yet so part of me kind of wish I stayed and made sure the guy didn't rape the girl, but part of me felt like I was a kind of a pathetic White Knight to have intervened in the first place. Have any of you ran into a similar situation? How did you handle it?
