Ltr tried to tell me "I love you" but couldn't get it out. My response was "I .... what?" "What is it?" "What baby?" Context was a great weekend, and we were both a little drunk.

She apologizes later for "being weird." I tell her I can tell she has something to say and she asks if I have something I want to say. I respond by telling her that if she has something to talk about I don't want her to hold back. It gets left alone from here.

Things are going great with this girl, 10 month ltr. Couldn't be better in my opinion. I just don't know how to handle this one, and what to do if she says it. My instinct knows this was what she was going to say and not something else.

Should I leave it alone from here and give her time to say it? Or do I need to pull it out of her and let her know what she is feeling is understood and she is heard? I am torn between saying, hey I know you had something you wanted to say, and you shouldnt hold back with me, or just letting it go. Thoughts?
