So, last night after we had dinner and I was dropping her off and we were kissing, she asked me "Why are you being so lovey-dovey"?

And like an idiot, I just said, "Should I not?"

She did not reply anything to that. Another kiss and then goodbye. Why do you think she asked that question and what would been a better reply?
