Just like the title says. It seems to me that monk mode is really just temporarily entering into a state of MGTOW. You focus on improving yourself, doing things for you, cutting out women and the pursuit of women, and trying to live life for you, by yourself.

The main difference I can see is that monk mode is a temporary state, after which you reenter the social scene and start approaching again, whereas MGTOW is a permanent choice.

Am I missing something? Any clarification would be appreciated.
