A barmaid at a nightclub I've been to 3 times gave me her number yesterday after I told her "I think you're attractive and want to go out with you sometime". This was of course after i've chatted with her previously, bantered a bit and found out her other interests.

But after a short conversation via text, i asked her out and I've been left on the dreaded "seen".

I got a bit bummed out and had the usual "Fuck i'm not good enough i never will be the things i said must have been retarded what did i say wrong what did i say that was dweeby" bad thoughts. but i've come to terms with it now and am just gonna keep getting better.

So direct approaches and non direct approaches. First off, how could I have made in an indirect attempt at going on adate with her, and would that have been the right course of action?
