Do I need friends?

I mean that depends entirely on you. And what kind of friendship you're looking for: What aspects would those people have? What values would they hold? Would they share a common interest?

I.e: You have the one group/person who loves to party, the person who is serious and likes to get straight down to business, and the like.

It's all about the values and aspects you wish to surround yourself with. Although just like anything else, everything in moderation meaning the amount of time you spend with people, and the amount of time/space you give for yourself to introspect/analyze if these are the values you would like to surround yourself with. Just my 2 cents.

One thing I forgot to add, is the act of social proofing with a woman. By having friends/acquaintances who know you to some degree, provides a woman with validation of social proof that their partner is of some social value.

Now from my observation, if a man fails to continue to display dominant traits signifying that he and his mate are together there is potential for a woman to seek a mate which could provide furthermore than what she currently has.

Yes you need friends. Yes girls like guys with friends. Social proof. Cultivate your social circle.
