It seems like when you were in high school or college and getting hot girls, you were "the man". People constantly reminded you of how awesome you were and you were constantly being validated by society itself, even elders called you pretty boy and player.

Now I am not into my 30s myself but I was thinking if some guy in his 30s does get hot girls and dates them, whether he gets that same validation that a 16 year old doing it gets or if it is just all on him to be proud of himself for it.

I do get the gut feeling that hookup culture and so much of that stuff loses its spark and energy as a guy gets older because everyone becomes a boring worthless piece of shit, something I hope changes.

What are your experiences with this sort of stuff older guys?
