I have 3 scars on my face, 2 on my hand and 2 on my back. They are all from stabbings. I'm 6'2", 17 and 185 pounds so Ive noticed that guys naturally give me more respect and women sometimes even try and touch the scars when we're fucking.

Pretty much I wanna know if this is just basic human psychology at play or if it's the result of culture and if my observation on scars increasing SMV is correct or merely anecdotal.
