It's always awkward at first when you're somewhere new. That's to be expected. Why don't you try some online dating? Meet a few girls with no expectations. Let them know you're new and have them show you around. I usually do this when I move. It's fun.

Indeed, i've moved to another continent 8 months ago and the feeling of being alone really hitted home after this whole corona thing. You're not alone on this. I think its bc of not connecting with the right people who are on the same boat as you, for example i did make some friends in the beginning but as time passed i realized that i dont have that much in common with them and they were more drinking buddies than friends, so i just dont want to spend time with them outside of clubbing. Keep your head clear with your propose, life sooner or later will put you close to people who like you.

Happened to me. I recommend walking outside, explore the surroundings, enjoy the details of that new country, make local friends, live the moments.

Takes awhile to settle in. Took me a year to get a solid social circle and people to go out with every weekend.
