So I am making this post due to a personal experience I am currently going through. I am a male in my mid 20's and I happen to be an engineering student with approximately 3 more semesters left to graduate. Why is this relevant to my question.
Have you heard about stereotypes regarding engineers and engineering students? Engineering students (and possibly engineers) are mostly betas, which is not meant to be derogatory in this case. The people who get the best grades are these types usually. They are mostly virgins, scared to talk to woman, they exhibit not a lot of facial hair, and a majority happen to be Asian (no offense to anyone, there are a lot of alpha Asians out there).
I am a guy with a lot of testosterone. I am not just saying that because I think so. Scientifically, a way to tell if a guy has a lot of testosterone is if they can grow facial hair easily, strong jawline, horny or masturbate frequently, balding (I am balding, but some guys get the lucky gene that doesn't convert testosterone to DHT), low voice, hairy, ect. I know I have a lot of testosterone and you can tell if someone has a lot by looking at them. I am former military and this explains why so many high testosterone males join the police force, military, are athletes or another "alpha" job. You don't see any betas in these career choices really.
Well, how is this relevant to me? As an engineering student, you got to study A LOT. You have to be really damn dedicated. I study long hours, do practice problems a lot, and give it my all for my classes. The problem? I don't get as great grades when compared to my beta peers. Even if I study and try my hardest, I end up getting C's or low B's. My beta classmates who I am also cool with, brag about study the night before and end up getting A's.
Have you heard about the stereotype of police officers or people in the Army or Marine Corp being "dumb" ? Well, having done some research, I found a few studies confirming men with higher levels of testosterone do more poorly on cognitive tests when compared to those with less:

If you don't like the source, there are tons of articles that talk about this. Here is also a great documentary on it:

So yeah, am I dumber but I can't help it ? I rather have more testosterone and be dumber than be a beta and be smarter, but what do you all think about this ? Have you all yourself noticed this ? If you think about it, it makes sense. The people who do really well in school are usually betas. I have also noticed that females do way better in school than males, especially when it comes to test taking.
Now I consider myself scientific and my mind changes with data, studies, facts, ect. Some of you may deny this and I wish this is not true, but everything is starting to make sense for me. I am looking for a discussion on this. I don't know if this is better on the main red pill subreddit or this one. Anyway, looking forward to reading some replies here. Thanks.
