I am currently in a relationship but back when I was in college I was fwb with 3 older women (Not at the same time). Two of them were in their late 30s and one was 46. I also know many older ladies who are fine as hell and they get hit on constantly. Some of them I would even consider spoiled with choices when it comes to men even though they're in their 30s and 40s, sometimes 50s. I know all I have is anecdotal evidence but are we exaggerating the whole hitting the wall thing?

Edit: Many older women, on average, will have more options compared to older men. We sometimes like to think that a man reaches his prime as he gets older but the reality is that a man also hits the wall, probably a lot faster compared to women. As much as we want it to be true, a 35 plus year old man will have a hard time attracting a young 20 year old woman while a woman between the ages of 35-50 (assuming they stay in great shape and take care of themselves) can easily attract a young man, and even men in their 30s and 40s. Let's be more realistic and honest about the whole concept of hitting the wall as I believe its greatly exaggerated.
