TRP is a toolset, so use it how you want. I'm in an LTR, and everything is great as long as you use dread game effectively.

I've successfully used TRP to get an LTR after my divorce. It really depends on what kind of woman you're looking for, because there are a variety. I was in my late 20's and picked up a 23 year old, and we've been together for almost 3 years, now. Easily the best relationship I've ever had. I can get just about anything I want from her, as long as I use the tools TRP gave me, but you have to treat everything as transactional, and it will take the romance out of it for you, in case that's something you like about LTRs. She will be way more into you than you are to her, but you sound like a simple guy who might not mind that.

In my opinion, it doesn't.

LTR with a person who only views you as a tool to get what she wants seems counterproductive to RP ideals.
