TL;DR Version : Is laughing out loud a good response to some random chick saying "Don't complain" ?

Long Version :

Few days ago, I have posted that now that I'm financially better (or at least I can give that "vibe" off) - too many chicks are suddenly interested in having a "real" relationship with me. Nice advices were given, and I am trying to follow them.

Never the less, please note the following conversation (Translated to English from an European language ) :

Chick : Have you a girlfriend?  Me : No. (comment : I just said no, nothing more, with a straight face)  Chick : What do you search out in a Woman ? Me : Oh, (with a sub-millimeter sized smile) I have my expectations.. pause.. Chick : So, how is your day going so far (comment :note, we are just standing outside smoking a fag - something i rarely do these days, the time is 1310) ? Me : Stressed, very stressed (Comment, now I am truly not feeling particularly charmed by this chick, I am reading the cigarette box) Chick : Well, you work a lot.. you need to slow down ....  Me : (comment - now I feel patronized and not respected 'cause I work a lot- So I look down at her eyes, I'm taller)  Oh no, nothing at all, I like my work. Chick : But you are stressed. Me : Yes indeed, that belongs to the story. Chick : Then don't complain about being stressed.

I look at her for one and a half second and laugh out loud. She bites her tongue and says "I'm" but never finishes. Another East European CEO was near, and was listening to this, he said "It's okey to be tired and stressed"

Later I meet the CEO again, and secured a new project deal with a personal remark "I like you".

*Question : * Was the laughter a good response to the chick? I think she was just being dumb. So I don't really care about the outcome. I am interested in, hopefully, having made a response that will indicate that I'm not interested in casually messing around. Bonus points for witty responses, which obviously a laughter isn't.

This is probably a secluded event, but nonetheless I'd like to know how would a seasoned RP male would handle this?
