Don't they bother you, though? I think I'm at a point where I do this shit unconsciously and sometimes I despise the way they behave. I'd really be into some chick, but she suddenly starts acting like a psycho and it really turns me off. What is going on in their heads? 'Oh no, he didn't write to me for two days and the last time he did, it was only to set up a meeting. He must be fucking someone else. I'll better text him every hour to check that.' No, I'm not, I just don't like texting. Stop p…

Have you heard about the Future Authoring Program? Constructed by Jordan Peterson and a few other psychologists and it is designed to help you see your future clearer. Although it didn't help me find what I want to do in the future, it certainly showed me what I do NOT want to do. And that's a step in the right direction.

Yeah, could be this way. Also missing the window of opportunity that you mentioned, so not getting laid till your late teens/early 20s, could mean that you you have nothing to build on and thus the fear and anxiety which bring you further down.

I don't have the definite answer(probably because there is none), but here is what helps me. First, realize you are not special. There're 7 billion people and you're just one of them. None of them is particularly important. For sure, you're not of any significance to the world. With that in mind, now you can shrug off the idea of some divine mission or any expectations you have for yourself. The world doesn't owe you anything, but you also owe nothing to the world. The next phase after this libe…

The thing about bad feelings is they tell you that something is not right. It is a biological mechanism designed by Mother Nature to get your ass out of trouble. It is good that you're feeling bad. For you it doesn't feel like it, obviously. But when you will look back on it after a while... you will see that it was a good thing. Without pain, progress is not possible. Thanks for the encouragement. I do care about other people, in the sense that I wouldn't purposely harm them. Although I can't feel what one would call 'connection'. Do you expect me to find an answer for you? If there is one question to ponder, it is this: 'What do I want?' Sad thing is nobody can answer it for you. Maybe you should take a step back and meditate for a few months. Look at life from a bigger perspective and try to find what it is that matters the most to you. Good luck with your journey!

So why won't you do what you love? Unless someone is holding a gun to your head, you're always free to choose. Why won't you go to Africa and help children there - you won't probably earn a dime, but you will have accommodation and food. Anyways, The Millionaire Fastlane sounds like a book you'd like to read. Talks a lot about the concept of time vs money and how to free money from time.

The premise of this method is that after doing this for 30 or 60 days(or as long as you need) you will start thinking of yourself as a fit person. Does a fit person drink coke to every meal? Nope. It creates a cognitive dissonance. In a nutshell - you're brainwashing yourself by doing those push ups. If you stick to doing them, in the long term they will change your life. Of course you can't get fit just by doing push ups. But I guarantee you - you will slowly start doing much more than just pus…

Thank you for an honest opinion. I'm not a native speaker and I feel like I adopt the style of writing by reading. What I read in English is mostly self-help and alike... My point with the first paragraph was to create a deeper interest in the topic, but I also see how there is little value to it when you look at it separately. Will try to do better next time.

Democracy is one of the most idiotic systems ever created. With the majority of people being fucking morons... Just think that a guy who sits at home all day, is morbidly obese, stuck in a dead end job, hadn't had sex once in his life, his only hobby is video games and has no clue about what life is about - he decides for you. That's why there is no question about lifting for me. There is no 'maybe'. Lifting is a thing I do and you can count I will be at the gym on tuesday, thursday and saturday, no exceptions. If I'm ill I'm going to show up anyway - maybe do just 30% of my normal routine, maybe just stretch... I mean, life is hella easier when you don't have those mental battles in your head. You just have things you do, like it is your nature.

I don't need to lift. This is the worst IMO. So much can be fixed by lifting - there is a reason why we always say LIFT. Pussies on AskTRP will always hamster some stupid bullshit why they don't need to/can't lift. 'Well, I'm an intelectulal, white and tall' or 'Yeah I run and kinda work out' Fuck you. It's not about the money or technology. I actually think that the world is on the decline when it comes to the overall happiness and mental health of people. Sure, people used to struggle more, but take an average man from 100 years ago and from today. Happiness as I see it does not depend in a slightest on external impulses. Things happen and they are neutral. Nothing is good or bad. Only humans give meaning to events. Is being a bum good or a bad way to live? I don't judge. He may be far happi…

So if you can quit porn you can also quit any use of natural substances - goes for alcohol, tobacco, food etc. NOFAP is the ultimate test of selfdiscipline. You guys missed my point though. Of course you need activities. But if you've never sat in deep depression you don't know how hard it is to start going. When you feel so tired that when sitting you don't want to go lie in your bed, because it's too much work. Being in that state you know exactly what should be done to get you out but you don't want to do this. You just want to be left alone in peace. I get what you're saying, kinda feel the same way. 19yo. For me my life is all I have. When I die it's game over and the thoughts I have in my mind while I'm dying... They are my goal. Freedom is something which I always wanted to achieve. Have you ever wondered why you should go to school and learn all this stupid shit, when you're only passionate about X? Or why should you get a job? Why should you sit 8 hours a day doing something you don't like? I have just finished my obligatory education and everyone asks me: 'So what will you study?' There is not even a thought in their minds that I do NOT want to study right now. I'm currently working some summer jobs to earn enough mo…

My mom always says 'You're so narcissistic' when I check my gains in the mirror. We were on a wedding recently and she has pointed at some tall, but super skinny guy in a dress shirt far too big for him. 'Do you see him? You used to look like this guy.' I loled.

Your parents will know about the party, there is no way you'll clean up everything, maybe something will be broken etc. For how we party in Poland, the host usually takes care of the food, but you're asked to bring your own booze(unless it's a bday). Works great. Tell you bros that if sb is doing something really stupid or is about to destroy something they have full right to kick his ass. Also much depends on your mood - people kinda watch how the host is doing and if you're grumpy the party pr…

You may find it weird, but for me NOFap works great. Whenever I'm on it I don't really care about being lonely, but when I fap a few times in a row the loneliness kicks in. Maybe it's because of the oxytoxin? Also boxing(or any other martial art). You always have to practice in pairs, so it's normal that you'll make a few friends. You can also ask the better guys for advice - they are always more than willing to answer.

Holy shit, for those who can really understand what he is saying this video is like a commercial on why not to get married! Married men work harder. Married men are less likely to change a job. Marriend men spend more time in church than in bars. Seriously? Seriously?! Who the heck would think those are adventages?

In my opinion it is mostly in the way you act - body language is king in this matter. Do you have agressive body language? Guys who give manly vibe they take much space, move slowly and speek with a deep voice. Not afraid to look sb in the eye and they don't smile like goofs. Posture is also important. Everybody who has a tilt in lower back comes of as gay, no idea why. You would probably like to record yourself so you can really judge. Maybe ask your best friend?

Unfortunatelly I have the same problem. I put maximum effort at first and later it just fades out... I realise it is not my calling. Eliott Hulse was once talking about this shit. He suggested doing something dangerous, not like robbing a bank, of course. Maybe go live in the woods for a week? I'm going to hitchhike around Europe without money. Maybe this way I'll learn more about myself. So find something what excites you and terrifies at the same moment and go do it.

I think it all boils down to your sense of freedom. A man with a free mind can always choose to be free - even if his body is entraped. Marcus Aurelius said: People try to get away from it all - to the country, to the beach, to the mountains. You always wish you could too. Which is idiotic: you can get away from it anytime you like. By going within. Nowhere you can go is more peaceful - more free of interruptions - than your own soul.

Okay, so why did you post it? What value does your post create and what can we learn from it? I am looking forward to contributing to this subreddit. By such posts? Let me tell you. One week is nothing. Nothing. You need months to change, sometimes years. Don't bullshit yourself. Great that you found TRP, I'm happy for you. But right now you know shit. Do you expect us to pat you on the shoulder and say, 'good job bro!'? Focus on improving yourself and come back when you have something valuable …

This is so true. Since I have discovered TRP I constantly find flaws within myself. Bad posture, acne, weak eye contact, etc... You fix one thing and suddenly a new one pops up - it's a never ending cycle. There is always something you can work on, a new area to improve. And sometimes when you don't take distance it's hard to take a breath. Especially when you always have that voice in your head saying that instead of playing games you could be doing somethig worth your time.
/r/TheRedPill27/04/16 07:17 PM

What OP describes here is both a blessing and a curse. After you realise the value of time, you can no longer spend it on bullshit without that voice in the back of your head. You know what I'm speaking about - you've heard it before and you have felt that itchy empiness inside of you when you don't pursue your mission. The point is we no longer own our lives. A man's life belongs to his mission.

The point is, most men don't even realise how much time they spend thinking about jerking off, actually jerking off or searching for the right porn. You can only see it when you free yourself from these thoughts and then you suddenly ask yourself 'wtf do I do with all this time?!'

A little bit late... Use 2 minutes rule. If there is something to be done, ask yourself: Can it be done in 2 minutes? If it can, do it right away. If it can't do only the first 2 minutes and later you will see if you want to continue or not. For example, put on running shoes and get out of your apartment. You can now decide if you want to go running or get back home.

Your height is no use if you're 'creepy tall'. Speaking from experience. If you're tall you should focus on your posture asap, fix your ugly head forward posture. Also lift obviously and wear clothes that FIT. I used to buy oversized things because I thought that if I need long jeans they also need to be bigger in waist. Bullshit. Great post. Lacking creativity might be the anwser to why so many men feel empty inside. Adding vaule to the world is one of the biggest missions for a man - either it is raising a kid, writing a book or building something. But we have this urge to DO and not only to consume. If you find one man who watches TV all day doing absolutely nothing creative and is truly happy with his life, I will give you all my money. Not going to happen though.

Unfortunately I was a victim of this mindset too. I've just read some shit and instantly thought 'now I'm the alpha'. The truth is a year will soon go by and I didn't do nearly anything. I didn't realize that I was so far behind the SMV curve that it would take months just to get to the level of my friends. As always - you have to put in massive amounts of work.

To improve my style, I bought a $400 glasses frame and I wear contacts occasionally. My style still isn't that good yet but I wear expensive clothes. Who gives a fuck? Law 9. I think that the best way would be to lead by an example. Try to show him how a man's life can look, take him to do manly activities like martial arts, shooting or some other fun shit. Introduce him to lifting. Showing him trp won't do a thing, he is not ready. Just try to slip some truths right here and there and hope that he will wake up soon enough.

They cannot understand that what works for them is complete shit for us. They won't say anything about improving yourself, because they cannot improve thier SMV(most of the time). So to conclude - in womens world 'just be yourself' is great advice, it gets them tons of dicks. But for us, it's total crap.

Actually quit smoking a month ago, I'm on nofap and the worst I did is marijuana. I get it that I might have sounded like a pathetic teenager, but what I meant is that I don't consider the teachings relevant to my future life. In some strange way your comment has helped me realise what the real reason for posting this was though. God. Thank you.

I can't find it now, but there was an article stating that it is very important to take Vitamin A if you're doing D. I think you should be fine eating more carrots though.

Fuck the rules. Text her the next day, say that you had fun and you want to hang out. 'I will be doing X in Y at Z, wanna come?' Don't overcomplicate easy things.

I think you should think it over. She made you do all of this? You allowed her to do it by having no spine and setting no boundaries. Try to call your friends and see if you can regain them, if they trurly liked you, there's a great chance they will understand. But seriously, you should work on having your own opinion and saying no. Oh, I nearly forgot. LIFT.

Yes! I've started playing harmonica not so long ago and I always end up getting pissed, because I was not performing good enough. In fact, I can't even play those songs for kids. I would throw the harp into a box and swear that I'm so bad at any kind of music. I will try to chill out and just enjoy playing it, thank you for your advice!

Thank you. The part about doing things only for fun really hit home. I still need to think it over, but it feels so right. Like I workout not to have a great body, but because I enjoy giving all I can, feeling my body work and that pleasent moment afterwards. I think I need to learn to be ine the moment...

Why would you waste so much time to feed an obvious troll? Smirk and walk away, we know better.

You said 'Break eye contact more oft than her.' Isn't it contrary to trp teachings about always breaking eye contact last? Or as I understand it now, just show her once or twice that I'm not afraid to eyefuck her and later don't bother?

Calisthenics actually beats lifting pretty hard when it comes to developing practical strenght. I prefer to do it in summer(I have street workout park nearby) and the lifts in winter. But sure I'm smaller that those gym rats.

How many minus points for minor acne + a lot of acne scars? I'm slowly dealing with this shit, but it may take longer than I expected. You can consider I'm 6'3 with 8%bf + glasses.

So do you suggest to break into convos and speak really much? I mean, I don't have problems with dropping my 2 cents, but I do it when I think it's worth doing. I could probably talk shit all the time, but it wouldn't be worthy then. I think the problem is more complex... maybe I'm being too quiet or I don't have smile on all the time like a stupid clown.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
