Many of my posts (including ones that are over a month old) will randomly get down voted. I know there are people that will read one of my comments and then go through the trouble of down voting many of my other posts. If I have commented in a thread that gets linked to TBP, then all my comments end up with a negative rating (despite all their claims that they don't brigade or interact at all on RP related subs).

I use several different emails, and I try to be careful about what personal information I disclose on any social media sites.

I heard that there was a very popular mod or user on reddit that was doxxed. He contributed a lot to TRP (I believe). Just be mindful of what information you disclose, and don't say anything that you would be embarrassed to have linked to your real name.

Mensrights gets doxxed all the time. It's such a problem that I am surprised that people still post google docs.

So long as you use a throwaway account for your posts on the RP network and don't give out your personal information, you're fine. Nobody (but the admins) can find your IP from Reddit alone.

Then there's the obvious of not using a username here that you also use elsewhere, unless both are solely RP accounts.

Got shadow-banned for doxing.

Posted a link to a certain website which lists female predators. This website was considered harassing and a doxing website. So, my intention wasn't to dox. But, simply linking to a website frequently discussed on TRP which happend to dox got me temporarily shadow banned.

I think doxing is more of an unintentional thing most of the time. While discussing with the admin to get unbanned, an example given was linking to Facebook. Basically, linking to a redditors Facebook account well intentioned or not is considered doxing.
