I'm 17 and the girl's 15. So there's this girl I met at the mall. I got her number after talking for like a minute. We went to a movie later that week. Tried to set up a time to go for a trek and watch the sun rise the week after. She was "busy" for the two days that week I offered. She never offered an alternate date. I've been soft nexting her for about three days now and never got a text. Honestly I don't really expect her to text me first since she's pretty shy. I was originally going to next her for a week, but now I'm thinking of dropping it all together.

Would it be worth it to put myself out there and try to set up a date again after the week is up? Or would it be better to never text her unless she texts me first?
