Newer to trp and wondering how to handle “dropping” your first plate - as in she told me today after asking her to come see me that she “has found someone who wants a ltr and wants to be true to him”

We established upfront that I didn’t want anything serious and have had sex many times after that conversation. One time she tried to shit test by telling me she wasn’t going to sleep with me that night because she was reminded she wanted something more and I said “gotcha OK” and a week later had her over and slept with her.

I’m a lover at heart and will miss her but I also have other splayed spinning so I’m not really that concerned.

I responded with an “OK understood” and left it at that. How would you guys handle this?
