My gf broke up with me yesterday after being in a serious 7 month relationship. The breakup talk went through laughs and tears but she said she wanted to remain friends (which was also her breakup intention). But after the talk, she asked me if I'd visit her at school. We also had sex after, so now I'm not sure if I want to turn her into a casual friend with benefits. She sent me this a few hours after we did the deed:

"Hey I hope you're doing ok, that was a foolish question of me to ask you probably don't want to come to IU (her school) but I just wanted to say I care a lot about you and I'll always be there for you.

And yes I just used a period so watch out"

This was two days ago, and I haven't responded. She basically wanted to turn our serious relationship into a casual one. I'm new to all this but I'd rather be a man about it and not sulk in the breakup emotions so what should be my course of action? Thanks.
