In my experience when I went 98 days it helped. I didn’t put any female on a pedestal because trp was fresh on my mind. It just motivates you to game, and think faster and sharper in conversation. You got a Y chromosome for logic, you’ll be fine.

its less about what nofap does but more about what fapping does.

when you fap you will have less energy and feel tired/relaxed. you dont feel like to do anything since your body thinks you already did you job in live, reproducing.

so you less likely to do stuff. when im on nofap, im wayyy more productive, skip less stuff which is important and feel energized.

Been on nofap/noporn for a while now. Noporn is way more important (see "Your brain on porn") but nofap has a place as well. If you think about it, porn is one step away from being a cuck. You are masturbating to watching someone else fuck a girl you want to be fucking... it's a little weird now, no?

Now will nofap give you superpowers? Will it help you approach? Give you confidence and all that jazz? I'd honestly say no BUT it did help me get over the mental hump that if I don't approach, I'm not getting off. Period.

Then why do it? I actually enjoy sex way more now. More present, sensual, etc. More self control and sex feels like a reward for my efforts in life/working out/etc. I can get and stay hard, without any sort of problems. Dunno, I just feel good. That's good enough for me.

For a normal person... not that much.

Personally, I feel at the best after 3 days not masturbating and at worst after the third day masturbating.

You've got to understand the difference between masturbation, maybe even to some kind of porn, and that fapping that NoFap references to. There's a surprisingly big number of ignorants who do not get the difference and have absolutely no idea how fapping can alter a personality and love to show off their simple minds.

Fapping messes with your reward-system and is a severe problem that should be taken care of. The number of people who suffer from fapping is increasing because of the unrestricted high availability of porn online coupled with the availability of display-devices to youngest people. Even those who were 30+ when highspeed internet porn became available can suffer from fapping, although they grew up without being able to get addicted. Imagine how hard it can be for people who grew up with all that available and nearly never ever experienced any kind of masturbation without a variety of porn.

The NoFap-movement should not be taken too serious, it's a bunch of people just as every other group. And usually the ones you see most often or the ones who are most present are often times not the kind of people you want to be associated with. When I read r/nofap I nearly threw up. But that does not change the fact that fapping, as opposed to "normal" masturbation, is a serious condition that will cause a lot of harm to whoever is literally fapping his life away.
