I quit my job about a year ago. I was making about 100k, but I hated the people I was working with. I just walked out, when one of the senior guys disrespected me publicly. I have been learning to day trade leading up to quiting, and I thought this was the best opportunity to jump into it. I'm pretty much break-even. I moved back with my parents at 30. And just feel drepressed all the time, because I'm not successful at trading...and I feel like a failure overall. Even though a year ago, I felt rich, but my personal life was lacking. But I really want to succeed at trading so I can have the best of both worlds.

But it appears my depression is compounded when I meet a girl, start liking her too much, and that connection frizzles (we do get romantic, but its short lived). I don't know how to deal with the extra sadness when ever a romantic interest, or connection disappears.

I lift regularly. Olympic weightlifting 4 times a week. But that is the only think I am doing outside of trading. I tell myself to next them and get and online dating profile going, or go to meetup. But my mind says, don't waste your time on women, you need to be profitable trader first. I feel like I'm going to drift aimlessly, and loveless forever.

Any advice to shake me out of this slump would be great.
