No time for socialization? It sounds like you are making excuses for yourself. Unless you have two jobs outside of class you most likely are just avoiding your fears.
If you want a real social life then move to a big city with a job to support yourself and make some friends. Have you been eating healthy, working out, meditating, reading, approaching girls, and in general keeping all your shit together? If not then fix that ASAP. You are graduating with marketable skills so go out into the world and be a man. Stop feeling sorry for yourself and crying about your mommy issues.

'no energy for socialization.' Studying takes up 8 hours + of the day along with going to class. Small talk here and there just feel like something is missing in life.

You got to stop being so negative. Why come to TRP to spew this beta crap? No way you study 8hrs a day, everyday, don't lie to yourself. Prioritize your time and work on your self worth. If going clubbing doesn't bring you joy find a hobby that does, as if you truly give it your all it will bring like minded people into your life.
I see nothing negative about it; just reality for what it is. Good point; maybe I need a hobby.

Yes, you need several hobbies. You need clubs and sports and many other hobbies to get involved with. I spent time at a top-tier university and still had plenty of time for hobbies and social acivities. I know kids who attended Ivy League schools and were involved with so many different things. A 9-5 isn’t your end-goal. You are way to negative and you need to look ahead. You can save some money to start your own business or do what you love. It all comes down to how much effort you put in to your life.
